This thing is AMAZING!!
I got this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He drinks French press coffee and has been looking for one that you can easily adjust from coarse to fine. It is fairly quiet and fits nicely in our not so big kitchen with little counter space.

The machine works fine and grinds consistent grounds. The grind size seems to lean on the fine, so I set it to coarser. The dial for amount is about 4 cups less grounds than a 1:17 ratio of grounds to water. Eg. To make a 6 cup pot in my drip coffee maker the grinder setting needs setting at 10+ cups.I like that the burr is removable for cleaning.The compact size is great on both the machine and the price!

I was so excited to get this and for a good price but I guess that’s what set me up to be disappointed. A small footprint bur grinder that seemed to have a setting for everything. This little grinder is incapable of doing a coarse grind though which is why it got returned. It seems that it would work fine for you if you’re only using drip coffee, espresso or Turkish. If you want it for cold brew, French press or percolator you might want to look elsewhere. The coarsest grind I could get at the lowest setting (marked French press which was also wrong because percolator should actually be a coarser grind) was suitable for a drip coffee maker. I did try it closer to the percolator setting at first and that was like flour. 2 stars because it does grind & is small.

Consistent and convenient
I like the consistent grind size that this coffee grinder gives me. I have been using a French coffee press lately and a larger grind size is appropriate for this brewing method. This appliance even has a setting labeled French press, and since I started using this machine, I haven’t had any solids passing through my press filter, so no more “sand” in my last sip of coffee now thanks to this grinder. A large hopper makes it quick and convenient to dispense just the right amount and grind size for my favorite brewing method for days before it needs refilling. A little bit of coffee dust does escape from the chute connecting the fill canister, but it isn’t that much and easy to wipe up with a wet sponge. Also, static electricity causes some coffee to cling to the sides of the fill canister, which is not really a big issue either. Overall, this is a good appliance that is relatively inexpensive and does a fine job of getting coffee beans sized right for almost any method of brewing coffee that exists, and that’s worth a 5-star review IMO.

It is ok for money paid. But if you looking for turkish coffee, look for something else. Doesnât do really fine coffee.
