Everything arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. The stainless steel and black base matches my kitchen decor very well, and I was able to find a spot for it where it does not take up space I need for food preparation. (That’s one thing you will need to consider when buying this set: it will take up a bit more room than a standard salt and pepper grinder since you cannot charge these by USB directly with how the charging port is designed.) I really like that you can adjust the grind level by simply twisting the bottom; there’s no need to stick your fingers under the dispensing location and risk germs getting transferred from your hands. The base is also a great way to ensure that my grinders stay fully charged at all times so I never need to worry about the battery dying when I am just about to use them. The motor has been working perfectly to grind peppercorns on the extra fine setting and I have not had any issues with both whatsoever to date. Very pleased with the quality and performance.

I’ve always wanted one of these electric grinders. I see them used by chefs on TV and they look so convenient to use. The biggest plus over manual grinders is you can use them with one hand only. The plus over shake style bottles is you can grind the pepper or salt from fine to coarse, to your liking. On top of these pluses the EIHO is rechargeable so I don’t have to keep changing out battering in the future.With the EIHO you get a set of two grinders, which was something I was looking for. I wanted one for salt and one for pepper. In the package you also get a charge/storage base, a USB-C cable and a small brush for cleaning. Everything is very well made and very good quality! The grinders feel nice made with acrylic jars and stainless steel materials. It looks very modern. The charge base is hefty and bulky. The two grinders slot in there with their charge pins facing the back. There is a USB-C port in the back for power. I think my preference would have been for a more sleek and minimal base so you can leave it at a dining table. With the current base I am going to leave it on the kitchen counter instead due to its size and shape.To charge the grinders plug the USB-C port on the back of the base/charge stand to an USB power adapter. One is not included so I used a charge station instead. After that place each grinder onto the stand with their charge ports facing to the back of the stand. This way the charge contacts connect to charge the grinders. There is a little LED on the front of each grinder that will show charge state. While charging it will remain red and go to white/blue when charged. After that you can unplug the USB-C cable and take the base/stand anywhere else.To use the grinder you first twist open the jar. Unfortunately you cannot wash any of the components except for the base of the charge/stand so I just went ahead and filled it as is. To close the jar just twist lock the top back on. You can set the coarseness of the grind by twisting the bottom ring. There are 6 markings, dots from small to large, to indicate the coarseness level from fine to very coarse. After that you can just press the top of the grinder and it will start to grind. Another cool feature is there is a built-in LED light that shines down. Now you can see how much pepper or salt is coming out. I find in certain light conditions you just can’t see the amount of salt coming out, but now having the LED helps greatly with that!There are a couple cons to the EIHO though. First, if you try to grind fine (i.e. last 2-3 settings on the fine side), the motor on the EIHO grinder really strains. It still works but you can definitely hear the motor and also see the grind slow down. I am concerned that if I use the fine settings a lot that the motor might give out in the future. The other issue is once you have pepper or salt in the bottle it is extremely hard or impossible to rotate the coarseness dial to the last 2-3 fine settings. I think it’s because the peppercorn/salt gets into each section of the grind stone area and that prevents it from turning. I have to turn the grinder upside down in this case, slap it downwards a few times to get the peppercorn/salt out, turn the grinder on, and then I can turn the coarseness to fine. It’s a bit of a hassle having to do this every time honestly.I really like this grinder set. It looks great, feels great, has a LED light built in, but unfortunately I can’t say all aspects of it works great. For coarser settings the grinders work awesome. However at finer settings the motor really strains to grind. It is also impossible to set to the finer coarseness settings once there is peppercorns/salt in the jar. You have to turn it upside down and shake all the stuff out of the grinder area before you can twist to set it to fine. Both of these are not deal breakers but something to be aware of, but as such I couldn’t give it 5-stars like many/all the other reviews. Overall, I am still happy I finally got my electric grinders, even though they are not perfect!

Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder
These are not bad little grinders. There are different grinding settings so you can either have a dinner grind on your salt and pepper or a more coarse grind. The basin where the salt and pepper are held are a bit small compared to the overall size of the containers themselves. These do have a nice little charging station that you just need to plug into charge. You will need a box or plug in spot that is USB capable or you will not be able to charge your salt and pepper grinders. Once these are filled and you have adjusted your grind you just press the top button and it will grind the stuff down. When done shake the extra salt and pepper from the grinder or it will make a mess in your little caddy.

I love this product. It grinds perfectly. No more shaking or tops coming off. Easy to use. Amazons speed on delivery was wow! Only negative was the price. Just a little over priced.

Honestly, itâs one of the best purchases Iâve made in recent years, right up there with my robot vacuum in terms of improving my quality of life.

We really like these grinders. They have a very attractive design and look great in the kitchen. They are comfortable to use and can be easily operated with a single hand. I find that with this button design I’m far less likely to accidentally dispense salt/pepper as I’m taking or returning the grinder from its dock.Grinding works really smooth and each grinder has a customizable setting for your desired coarseness. The LED light may seem gimicky but it actually helps see how much you’ve dispensed — particularly with salt which can be sometimes difficult to see on its own.Lastly, the charging design on these grinders is also much improved over other grinders that typically charge from the base — where the salt and pepper is dispensed! The charging contacts always need to be cleaned for those grinders because salt and pepper will inevitably collect on them. This design keeps the charging contacts clean and clear of the salt and pepper.Overall great automatic salt and pepper grinders. Just be aware that the kids will probably find them fun to use too!

Quality made salt and pepper grinders. They work so good. They have adjustable grind size and easy to use. I love that you only need one hand to pick it up and press a button to instantly have fresh ground pepper or salt on your food. Often I find I have a dirty hand from cooking so it really helps with easy of adding salt and pepper. So far the battery life is great and it is easy to charge then put away the charging stand. You can also store on the charging stand if you prefer. It is a fair price for what you get. Highly recommend these!

Well designed, pleasure to use
First and most important, this product made my wife happy. Priceless. . .But seriously, so far after using for a week, this product is well made, seems sturdy for the long term and is a pleasure to use. No more having to use two slippery hands with a grinder, or getting stale tasteless pepper out of a spice jar. The light is very handy to have, so you can see how much spice is being applied. And the charging base is a nice home that keeps them at the ready. It enhances the look of the kitchen with its modern, clean design. I also like the easy twist to change the size of the grind. The product does not come with a usb charging plug for the wall. I found a nice one on Amazon with multiple outlets in case we add something else.This is worth the higher price, providing it holds up to the rigors of the kitchen. Itâs seemingly well made and hopefully stands the test of time. And if it does, the designers and manufacturers are to be congratulated for making a quality product that wonât add the landfills anytime soon. I hate the cheap crap that is too often sold at a low price and breaks only to be thrown away before an acceptable lifecycle. I would rather have quality products surrounding me and have them a long time – itâs more satisfying to use them and they pay for themselves over time. If we all adopted this philosophy, the world would be a cleaner place.
