This little grinder is great value, I think. It is quite easy to clean – the dust doesn’t seem to get into the part under the removable cup, and that basically leaves you with the removable cup to clean, which is super easy and fast. The cup seems smaller than many others, but I don’t notice that it is grinding much less than my previous ones. This is fine.Also, it uses a thermal switch so it shuts down if you overheat it. Since I grind several cups worth at one go, I can do maybe four cups and then leave it 20 minutes and do more. This is not a big deal. The big deal is that it has 4 blades, 2 of which are very close to the bottom of the cup, so it readily yields espresso sized grind.While I like espresso, I rather think that most people like a more granular grind, so this grinder will do more of these cups at one go!I like this grinder. It isn’t easy to find one that can do fine grind, and this one does that perfectly!!

Best ever coffee and spice grinder
What a wonderful piece of equipment! Worth every penny. The grinds do not leak out of the container during grinding so there’s little to no cleanup involved. Because the grinder-bowl detaches, it’s easier to handle and easier to dump out the contents than the one-unit designs and the fact that the pieces can be cleaned in the dishwasher make it even better! The grinding power is exceptional with a nice grind achieved in mere seconds. It even grinds alfalfa seeds to a fine powder. There is no bad smell or off gassing. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Great product.

Great idea to have removable basket..
I got this as my old grinder died after 20 years. I always was bothered that the cup did not come out. I bought this model as it had that feature – and is dishwasher safe on top rack. I use my grinder for several things, spices, dog food, coffee and whatever else needs to be grinded. It was a pain to have to clean older models where you could not remove the cup. I also like the feature that the inside cup has a lid and the grinding action is generated by a larger cap you fit around the cup and you just push down – no buttons to line up or things to break. You can just remove the cup once ground and pour into your dish. The cup is easily set into the grinding base by a slight twist to lock into place. I’m very happy with this grinder.Only improvement, I’d sell with 2 cups… and it would be nice if the cup was just a little bit bigger – but I’ve been able to use it for coffee and it grinds enough for 6 cups.It is worth the few extra dollars it costs for other brands. Thank you.

Beautiful and compact
We only grind coffee beans in it, and I’m not sure how it would work with spices, etc. With the coffee beans, we never grind longer than 10 seconds. So far, it works well.

stopped working 7 months in
worked ok but cup is very small compared to most other grinders. After 7 months it just stopped after trying to grind a second cup of coffee even though I was well within the 30 second limit that is on the cap. Do not buy, it’s a throw away 6 month item.
