It’s a great grinder for herbs, seeds, suger and salt, but maybe not much for nuts as it doesn’t have the power (to be fair I only tested walnut and it failed). It works great for spices, herbs and grains which is the reason I bought it, and I’m very happy with it. The fact that you can wash it and clean it easy is just amazing.

= Broke with burn to skin – No Nuts, No Glory
UPDATE – Catastrophic Failure – Device Broke with burn to skin after once a week use. Loud screeching noise. Tried to advance the nub at bottom of cup that connects with base, got burn on my thumb. Don’t see any way to contact the seller in Amazon app for support.Device advertised as suitable to chop/grind nuts.- Expectation: you would be able to tip the cup upside down to pour the grinded content out.- Reality: you get a paste like consistency (see picture) which can not be poured out. Process of getting it out is tedious, time consuming, involves utensils and licking fingers.- Example: 10 Brazilian nuts, well below the max fill line (see picture)

chops an grinds nuts.
I took time to find the one that would meet my needs. This grinder is just what I needed. very pleased.1. Tap lightly on the top when using. It just needs a light touch to chop nuts. Press and hold for powder. Could always be used to chop or make a powder out of dehydrated vegetables’ as well. I only need a small amount at a time so this works great for me. If your doing a larger then a two person batch then you will need a grinder with a larger container.2.It came with the scraper/brush tool. The scraper works great for getting out chopped food. The brush worked great for getting every bit of powder out.3.For cleaning I put in a drop of dish soup then used the sink sprayer to clean and rinse. The sprayer cleans it perfectly with no need to get my fingers near the blades. All the reviews I read said the blades are very sharp so I do whats needed to keep my fingers out of the container.4.If you lose the brush/scraper you can replace it with the same size/width painters brush found everywhere. The scraper can often be found in the beauty section of any store because it’s made to scrape out small jars.5. I didn’t find the motor noise loud at all. The most noise comes from being used with food and that doesn’t take very long to process.

Perfect for grinding coffee beans – quick and easy
I did a lot of research on coffee grinders before deciding on this one. Boy, did I make the right choice. This is be best little grinder. It doesn’t take up a lot of room. It’s easy to grind the coffee and grinds just the right amount. I’m very pleased with this grinder. It’s perfect for me. I love the easy way it can be used.
