Excellent for making coffee at home
Iâve been on the search for a high quality coffee bean that has the perfect hint of peppermint for the Holiday Season and I finally found it! Within a few weeks, it was all used up (which never happens when I purchase flavored coffees)! The beans were easy to grind up & the flavor lasted super well in the freezer, once the beans were grounded up. I will be purchasing more beans in the near future!

Very nice
Very fragrant, nice cinnamon flavor. Only negative is that I’ve bought plenty of 8oz ground coffee bags but even as whole beans, the bag l oozed as if someone had gotten a few uses of the coffee. So it’s pretty expensive to me since it’s not even a fully filled bag.

I Love This Coffee
I used to get peppermint grind your own coffee at the grocery store every December and was so bummed when the grocery stores got rid of that section. I have tried a couple different brands of peppermint coffee in K cups as I now use a Keurig but nothing was nearly as good or came close.I tried this coffee (candy cane) based on some of the reviews I read, and Iâm absolutely thrilled that it is very much, if not just like, the old coffee I used to get at Christmas time. I use rinse and re-use K cup pods with my Keurig.Regarding anybody who commented that this coffee is bitter, over grinding any coffee beans if youâre going to use them for a drip or a Keurig will cause bitterness. With experimentation, I have settled on a medium to course grind to get the perfect cup of coffee. As per the manufacturerâs instructions for the grinder I have, I achieve this by doing short pulses with the coffee grinder.I ordered a second bag of this coffee and will be re-ordering it every year if it is available. Iâm really so thrilled to have peppermint coffee at Christmas time again.

I like some Door County coffees but not this one
I just didn’t like this one. Sorry…I came back to add this: When I think of cinnamon, I think of the warm flavor of cinnamon toast or cinnamon rolls, or the richness of a North African stew. This cinnamon was more the spicy tang of red hots. I don’t like that or peppermint in coffee. But, I think you could make an after dinner drink with this coffee, some whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, served with a peppermint stick, and it would be pretty good.

Itâs worth your time and money!
I received a sample of this coffee in a Christmas package from a dear friend who also enjoys good coffee. It had me sold from the moment I opened the packet and got a whiff of the yummy goodness inside. Now, Iâm not usually sold on flavored coffees, as I tend to want to enjoy the bean itself and the craft behind the roasting. This blend changed all that. My first sip tasted like Christmas Eve. I thoroughly enjoyed every drop of that cup as I usually have my coffee- black no sugar. My daughter came for dinner and I served her a cup of it with a plate of cookies. What was left of the bag mysteriously disappeared, so I had no choice but to order some more! Iâm looking forward to exploring the other flavors available for sampling in the near future.

Love County Door Coffee Beans
I have only used the County Door brand a short time. I started with the different holiday blends – mistletoe mocha, nice or naughty grog and white Christmas and they were all heavenly! I am not an âeveryday coffee consumerâ. I make a cappuccino (at home) every other day (or so) using the County Door coffee beans and I use heavy whipping cream (frothed ) to top off my cappuccino. Itâs a delicious treat! I buy the coffee beans and put them in the freezer until Iâm ready for a new bag. I keep my current open bag, sealed and in an airtight container.
