I use this mat for my cat. I had a door mat for her food bowl and water and her claws constantly got stuck in the fabric. She overturned the water, which ruined my carpet. So this more solid mat is a brilliant item, as my cat cannot dislodge it. I am most pleased with the purchase.

Keeps the spills in (mainly) & my dog doesnât have to chase her bowl around the floor any more. So easy to clean and looks good too.

LOVE these mats!
I left a review when I purchased my first mat. Since then I have placed numerous orders for more mats. I own several of these great mats in different sizes for different purposes ( I wish they didn’t call them DogBUddy mats since they are so much more!). The 11 x 11 is the perfect-sized place mat for my messy-eater kitty’s dining. I love the raised border for keeping the food spillover contained on the mat and it is super easy to rinse clean. I also purchased two larger mats to use as boot trays for the front door area and for the back door. I didn’t want the typical black plastic trays (boring!) since my tile floors are almost white and the rug near the back door is a light tan. I wanted boot trays that would compliment and blend as opposed to standing out with standard, run-of-the-mill black boot trays. Being that they are light colored, I wipe them clean when the shoes and boots are not on the trays (who wants to look at dirty trays?!) The great number of size options and color choices in these mats has me thinking… about my plants! They are well made with the silicone being quite substantial, non-slip and 100% waterproof. 5 stars! I highly recommend these mats.

Great silicone mat!
Great silicone mat! The sides are a good height, to keep spills or objects contained. All silicone is going to be floppy to some extent, but these mats are quite heavy and have really good structure. I have one under my cat’s water fountain, replacing the extremely floppy one that was there before. Another mat on my desk, under my water glass and coffee cup. Another on a coffee table, to prevent my cat from batting small objects like fingernail clippers, remotes, and a lazer pointer off the table.

Perfect size & thickness of material
I returned 2 other similar size/style food mats because they claimed to be sturdy/thick material. One came rolled up and the edges never settled properly. In addition to that, the mat was nearly see-through it was so thin. The second was off in size and the ridges kept the bowl setup from remaining flat/still. The moment I saw this was delivered flat and not rolled, I got excited. Sure enough, this is the thickness of a food mat for one of my cats (who eats wet food) that I had been searching for. It’s the perfect size and the darker gray color goes great with the other gray tones in the room. Cleans up easily enough just with soap & warm water in the sink, although they say you can put it in the dishwasher – shouldn’t be needed. The food bowl setup that we have doesn’t move, so that’s also great. Very happy with this purchase and I’d recommend to anyone needing a small mat for a smaller space or just a one bowl setup like we have.

I bought a small one when our dog was a puppy to use under his feeding bowls and when he outgrew it, I used it as a shoe and dog towel mat near our deck door. It’s easy to clean and dry. The only thing I will say is silicone attracts hair, so you have to wait until it’s dry to shake that out and vacuum it.

The mat appears to be quite sturdy, and I’m quite pleased with the light grey color. However, it arrives rolled in a tube, which has caused some minor deformation along the sides, making them not perfectly straight but slightly bulged. Given the price, I had hoped for a flawless product.I initially expected the mat to regain its original shape over time, but unfortunately, it hasn’t. Nevertheless, it still serves its purpose effectively and maintains its overall quality.

Great product, color is as described. Appears to have good durability, great functionality, lays flat after removal from box. Slip resistant on tile floor. Highly recommend this product.

My Search Is Over!
So glad I got this! Itâs my German Shepardâs place mat for food & water. Right out of the box, it unrolled beautifully without a flaw. The size and color were as advertised. I wanted a mat that didnât slide on the floor, didnât let the bowls slide around, and contained small messes. This is it! Love the water proof surface. Dribbles easily blot right up. Love the silicone surface. It keeps the bowls in place through my dogs pushing on them to get every last tidbit out. Love the edges around the mat that defines and contains the feeding area. Iâve tried a few different types of mats but not a one stands up to this one! One and done! Thank you!
