Great solution for limited counter space
I bought this product because I live by myself and have very limited counter space. I have a single sink so I canât not separate dirty dishes from clean dishes so they have to go straight to the drying pad. This works perfect for me as I can just set my small amount of dishes on it and let them dry right on the counter (as I donât have a dishwasher and no room for a drying rack). The drying pad is very easily removed when I need the counter space or have company over.I read in other reviews before purchasing the drying pad that it has a strong chemical smell. Iâll agree it does have a smell but it is not over whelming by any means.Iâve had the drying pad for about a month now and it has held up great. Some say that the hard water ruins it but I have not seen any hard water build up yet. It is do for a wash as Iâm not too sure how, maybe just soap and water and roll it loosely as it folds well and let it drain in the sink while at work.I accidentally ordered the wrong size the first time and got the small one. I ended up ordering a larger one to fit the counter and hold my dishes which works great now. I was worried that the water would drain through into the counter top but so far I have not noticed any.

I absolutely love this drying mat. I have a small counter space and this fits perfectly in the space and rolls up nicely for storage in between uses. It is nice and thick so that if a glass dish is dropped it has cushion and is completely water proof. Mat dries quickly or you can wipe off any water with a towel before rolling up and putting away. Would purchase again.

Much better than fabric!
First I used a fabric drying mat and then I used a towel. Almost bought an all stone mat but I was really worried I would break things accidentally because the surface is so hard so this seemed to be the happy medium. It is! Itâs perfect! I donât have to worry about laundering it and it stays perfectly clean because all the dishes and things going on at are already clean. It dries extremely fast as well. Very happy! Only wish they had a lighter gray color. When they do Iâll just buy another.

never thought I’d be obsessed with a dish drying pad but here we are
This is probably my eleventh dish drying mat. It is also my last. I seriously love everything about this thing, to the point where I’m questioning what happened in my life that a DISH DRYING MAT is making me swoon. [SPOILER: Skip to the third paragraph if you do not have cats in your house.]First and foremost (and do not judge me), cat hair doesn’t stick to it. This is by far my favorite feature, as I have a you-know-what of a cat that will not stay off the counters (yes I’ve tried the buzzing collars and tin foil and I have a spray bottle that LIVES ON THE COUNTER and he legit doesn’t care if you douse him). Not only that, but the dish drying region happens to be his favorite spot on the entire counter. Of course. The microfiber mats are like cat-hair magnets, so I had to have a dozen so I could wash them daily. NOT THIS ONE. If a hair lands on it, you literally blow it off and it’s gone. POOF! It’s magical.Beyond its mystical and marvelous cat hair-repellant properties, this thing actually looks great on the counter (no really!), it lies flat and doesn’t have those ugly creases, and somehow absorbs water almost instantly. This shocked me as it’s sort of a leathery-looking wetsuit material, but it does. The dishes also seem to dry more quickly on this than on microfiber (or maybe I’m just biased now but who cares).I will likely buy another, not because I need to rotate them anymore or because I question its integrity/longevity, but because I’m the sort of person who when I find a perfect belt or pair of jeans I’ll buy two, “just in case something happens to one of them.” I know, it’s a sickness. I asked you not to judge.Just buy this thing. You won’t regret it.

Slight upgrade from placing a dish towel on the counter
At first the product was super absorbent, and I knew I made a great purchase to replace the towel on my counter to set dishes on to dry. As time passes it absorbed less and less and now after a month it doesn’t absorb much at all and often leaves a puddle under the mat. When it dries out well it becomes more absorbent but it’s never as good as the first few days I used it. It’s a slight upgrade from using a towel.
