    These are great!
If you’ve ever tried reusable coffee pods before and were sorely disappointed, these are NOT those. Been using ours about 6 months, 4-6 cups a day, and only had one incident where the top popped open and made a mess. The screen got clogged after about 3 weeks of just rinsing. Now we put them in the dishwasher silverware rack about once every other week and no problems since. These are amazing. We buy 8 O’clock beans in bulk and then cut them with more expensive beans. Current blend is 4 parts 8 o’clock, 1/2 part organic espresso beans, and 1/2 part hazelnut flavored beans. We also bought a good automatic grinder to keep the process as quick and easy as possible. Now our coffee always tastes fresh, costs less per cup than even the Walmart brand in bulk, and no waste generated.Protip: Buy 2 and while one cup is brewing, rinse the other one right into the garbage disposal. As an added bonus, the rinsed coffee grounds act as a gentle abrasive and keeps the garbage disposal clean and smelling fresh.10/10 will buy more of these pods.Update: It’s now been two years and we still use these exclusively in our Keurig. The same two we bought originally. The O-Rings are finally starting to get weak, so occasionally (rarely) one pops open and makes a mess… But we’re talking thousands and thousands of cups of coffee later. Amazing that they lasted this long. About to finally order a new pair.Update 2: okay it’s now been four years. I never got around to ordering a new pair, because these are still working great, O-rings are still intact, the cups still snap closed nicely and do not pop open in our new Keurig (yes, they outlasted the Keurig I bought them for). Can’t even estimate how many thousand cups of coffee have gone through them (gotta be five digits), and some of the gold has begun to fade and that’s about it. A relative on a visit even put one in sideways and punctured the plastic on it but it still works fine, no grounds in the cup. Finally ordering another pair (for real this time) because we lost one of them. It’s somewhere in the house but we can’t find it and can’t have just one.I don’t think I’ve ever recommended a product as wholeheartedly as I recommend this product. Absolutely fantastic performance and unbelievably durable. It would be near impossible to build a better pod than these.See you in two more years maybe?

    Convenient and cost effective
If convenience is your only reason for owning a Keurig coffee maker, just keep using the expensive, prefilled K cups designed for use in this coffee maker. But, if you are willing to sacrifice just a little convenience for a LOT of money savings with no loss of quality or taste in your coffee cup, then the DI ORO MaxBrew Keurig Reusable K Cup Coffee Filter is made to order. I’ve used one for several months now, and find it an easy to use product that delivers a great cup of coffee every time. A Pros and Cons list is now in order.PROS:-Quality built and durable. After several months of use, it looks and performs as it did when new.-24K gold plated stainless steel filter basket. Unlike other metals, gold will not react with the acids in coffee.-Gold plating allows nothing but the true taste of your coffee to come through.-Aside from the cost of this item, the only other cost to use it is whatever you choose to pay for your brand of coffee. Prefilled K Cups and easily cost 50 cents per cup compared to only pennies per cup with this item.-Quick and convenient to use. Just fill it with the desired amount of your coffee, snap shut the lid, and drop it into your Keurig coffee maker.-Quick and easy clean-up. Just empty grounds and rinse it out with warm water, and it’s ready for another cup.CONS:-Only one. Though the filter does prevent coffee grounds from ending up in your coffee cup, there will likely be a little very fine coffee sediment in the bottom of your cup. Though I have not tried using coarse ground coffee, I suspect that the coarser the grind, the less sediment you will experience. Again, this sediment is so fine, that I do drink that last swallow from my coffee cup and don’t even notice the sediment in my mouth. Conclusion: I highly recommend the DI ORO MaxBrew Keurig Reusable K Cup Coffee Filter!

  3. Honest Opinions

I’ve tried them all and these are the most durable among the coffee pods
I’ve been buying these coffee pods periodically over the past couple of years. Not because I needed replacements but to add to those I already have. I have enough of these to fill a half pound of coffee at one time. I’ve tried the others and they seem like they are cheap knockoffs. The lids break off and they are made with lightweight, cheap materials. These are clearly the gold standard. No plastic taste, durable to the extent that those I bought three years ago are still being filled and used regularly. I wish the price was less, but it’s still cost effective because my oldest ones have been used over 150 times each, making the cost less than 8-cents per use. Love that I can fill them to the level I wish with my own coffee.

Gold K-Cup works well, but some other tips may help you here
I have been brewing 100% Kona coffee in my Keurig for many years. I buy a variety of beans online and pay a premium for that privilege, but the result is worth it to me. I have tried a variety of aftermarket k-ups, and ekobrew’s version generally worked ok for me. I bought their stainless steel version a year or two ago and those leaked and the hinge broke down, so I gave up on them and I am now on to this gold filter. And it works well. I have learned a few things over the years. First, I actually think the coffee tastes better if after brewing it there is a small layer around the edge of bubbly slurm. I noticed this when drinking coffee freshly brewed in cafes in Europe, there was always some bubbly or foamy stuff around the edges. Second, I find I get a better cup of coffee with a coarse to very coarse grind. Third, don’t overfill the Gold K-up, that actually interferes with the filtration. If anything, underfill slightly. Fourth, if you don’t want the residue in the bottom of the cup, pour it into another cup. I don’t find my Keurig heats my coffee well enough so I brew it into a good mug and then heat it up some more. That allows me to pour most of it into my travel mug and leave the residue behind. Surely if you like coffee made in a French Press you are used to the coffee residue that ends up in the bottom of your coffee and that is supposed to be a superior method of making coffee.

I’ve had this one for about 8 years now and i use it every day.I must have used it a few thousand times for sure. Imagine the money i saved on those ready made pucks ?!I just put my favorite blend of coffe in it and voila !Beside a little fading in the pink, It’s still in perfect condition. i think i’ll get a spare one just in case…

…….you need to use a paper filter with the cup, or the water flows through too quickly resulting in weaker coffee. Amazon sells all sorts of the k-cup size paper filters. Using the paper filter also makes emptying the reusable k-cup quick. I also recommend getting the Perfect Pod A03020 Ez-Scoop Refillable K-Cup Funnel/Scoop. This scoop makes getting the coffee into the filter/cup really easy. And use a really fine grind coffee!! I’m estimating I spend about 1/2 $ on Whole bean Starbucks Coffee and filters, compared to K-Cups, so these gadgets pay for themselves pretty quickly!!

Me encantó ya que dejé de usar cápsulas, lo cual me resulta más barato y dejo de contaminar.
