hefty ceramic pitcher w/ strong plunger suction, clean & classy looking, petite, works well
Hefty vessel, truly has weight to it. Really quite nice. Undoubtedly high quality parts. It is attractive to look at and has a good solid feel to it. I like the black finish with dark wood lid and black accent pull. The plunger is sturdy, but may be a turn off to weaker folks as it has a tight plunge.I find that this works fantastically.Smaller than many at just 20 ounces. Says 22, but its closer to 20. Must leave a couple inches for plunger and coffee grounds. Basically makes 2 cups of coffee (8-9 ounces each)Basically use 1 TBS per 4 ounces of water. Stir, place top on, then after 4-6 minutes, plunge and serve. I use course to medium course ground coffee. I have used it for loose teas as well with success.I think this is a fantastic option if you don’t mind the petite size. It makes it an easy addition to my countertop if I don’t want to tuck it away (and now takes up less space in my cupboard when I choose to put it away).The appearance is clean and classy looking. It could be used as a water pitcher in a pinch.I like “pre heating” my pot by filling with hot water first, then after a couple of minutes I pour it out and proceed to make my coffee or tea.I don’t necessarily think that it holds heat. The ceramic is pleasantly warm to the touch which means heat is escaping. I would say that liquid stays warmer in this longer than glass though.I really like the look, size, and quality parts. The plunging action is more secure than other presses I have used, but I think it makes a better cup. However, this may be a challenge for weaker individuals. Overall for most of my friends, I would consider this as a gift.4.5 stars from me. But since we cant do half stars, then 5 it is since I truly like it more than 4 stars.If I experience anything else worth sharing I will be back to update.

Small but beautiful
I am in search of a ceramic/stoneware French press and was hopeful this would be my beautiful solution but it just to small. Maybe perfect for someone that only drinks 1 cup of coffee but that is not me. The other issue I had, was when you pressed the plunger, even very slowly, it âburpedâ a little coffee and grounds out of the spout. Beautiful if you just want it for looks.

Cute little French press. Doesn’t hold much or keep warm like I was hoping but looks good. Mine was scratched too which is a bummer but otherwise I like it.

Excellent quality.
It’s heavy and strong, goes in the microwave, and the press thing is also good quality and reliable.I use it for coffee, and also for frothing milk. It works ridiculously well.It’s perfectly easy to clean, the press can come apart if you want to clean it.I love it so much I got two more – one for my sister and another for a friend.

strong and stylish
Have used glass french presses in the past, but the glass carafe eventually cracks so I looked for something more solid. This piece is excellent – strong, attractive and functional

Grounds often get into the coffee, through the filter.

Works as it should!
Overall, very happy I like that it is metal. I broke my last glass one. I got the bigger size which I like I can make a couple cups at a time.

Really heavy
It is heavy and has too much wasted space at the top because of the spout.
