I still did not use it cause I don’t know the correct wiring to use. Brought it to hardware store and still no one is capable to give the correct wire to use.

Worked perfect … And …
And, I’m glad it’s stainless steel because that’ll last longer than the copper ones.A perfect replacement with excellent performance and fit and a good value for the money. Temperature and heat seem fine !I would buy again.And you can do it yourself – just drain the water below where the heating element is at and take your time.:)

Perfect for solar
Use it in a solar system to divert the load in the bottom element for hot water instead of adding more batteries. Wish they had the same in 500W to let run all day and maximize the solar use.

Leaked at electrical connections
After paying a plumber $125 to install the unit I was informed that it is leaking at the electrical connections. There is a small triangle looking piece where the wires look on and it is leaking from there.
