Different level coffee experience
This machine makes the best coffee, espresso, macchiato, cold brew, etc., that I have had in my life. Amazing crema from 2% milk. Excellent self-cleaning functions and it looks great. We use Odin Force whole coffee beans from Death Wish. The hefty price is justified by what the machine does.

Easy to use automated espresso machine that easily produces high quality espresso beverages!
First of all, let me explain that this is my first espresso machine. I have always enjoyed espresso-based drinks but generally limited them to just a latte or americano once a month. Espresso based drinks at a retail shop were just not convenient for me, and they get expensive when you drink them regularly. I usually am satisfied with plain drip coffee and I figured that while I would have my favorite espresso-based drinks more often that it really wouldnât change my coffee habits dramatically. I was so wrong!So, I ordered this being a bit of a skeptic. I quickly became a wholehearted convert. What had held me back for so long was I saw espresso machines as being complicated and a bit fussy. I didnât want to spend the time learning how to get my coffee drink the way I wanted and I was always in a hurry to get to that first cup in the morning.After a quick setup â I didnât read the big manual and instead just used the quick start guide â I discovered that making great coffee drinks with this unit was absurdly easy, and quick! I could push a button and everything was automagically done for me. I could obtain my coffee drink FAR more quickly than going through the trouble of firing up my drip coffee maker. It was a revelation!I do advise going through the âbig manualâ, eventually. While the pre-programmed recipes handle all of the basics, it is nice to be able to customize drink volumes and how strong you want to have your extraction. Conveniently, there are spaces for 3 profiles so that your household members can each customize their drinks to suit their tastes.While it is incredibly easy to use, it does require a little attention from time to time. While the unit is largely self-cleaning, you will need to clean out the waste coffee bin and drip tray regularly. You will also need to clean your milk container on a regular basis. The unit comes with a water filter and with a packet of descaler solution to clean out mineral buildup. I use reverse osmosis water to fill my water tank â so I shouldnât need to descale the unit very often â but descaling IS important. One suggestion that I suggest that you follow is to MAKE SURE to test your water with the included water hardness level detection strip and then adjust the unitâs settings to account for that! It will save you from having to descale frequently if you have soft water.I am very pleased with this unit â it has dramatically changed my coffee-drinking experience!

Great machine, still requires user knowledge
This is my second espresso/coffee machine, however this is my first fully automatic. I got this for my home office to save me some time in the morning as I’m a late-morning coffee person and often only have time between meetings to quickly get a K-cup. The De’Longhi Dinamica delivers, however, I’m still on the fence about the quality of the brew and final consumable product. I have had my manual espresso machine for a while and use it daily to take care of my wife’s morning coffee as well as weekend coffees for myself. The brew quality on that machine is phenomenal since I’ve figured out all of the intricacies of how it runs. As such, the De’Longhi is brewing me a cup that has yet to match the flavor I get from my semi-automatic.That being said, The De’Longhi can brew a quick latte with minimal effort on my part. Something I really appreciate and for the past few days I’ve been able to ritualistically have time to enjoy my coffee after my late morning meetings before the rest of my day picks back up. The coffee has been only OK though, the richness is there but the flavor is somewhat off. I have been studying it trying to improve the quality to my tastes and I will say that it has been slightly improving. However, the best selling point of this machine is the 1 push button barista quality coffee.What this coffee machine makes up in ease of daily use requires more from you in the long run. For instance, compared to my semi-automatic machine the De’Longhi requires much more cleaning despite the auto-cleaning functionality. Because, at the end of the day you realize that simple purging just isn’t enough. Just like my semi-automatic I’m taking this thing and hand washing many of the parts at the end of each day even if it doesn’t seem necessary. I find that even after making one coffee parts get sticky or splattered.Despite my criticisms of the brewing and cleanup I still find myself loving this machine more each day. It isn’t a cheap machine and for a home brewer this is definitely on the higher-end. If you love coffee like we do and are willing to give time and effort to master the De’Longhi then you will find yourself wanting to shell out to the coffee shops less and less, if at all.The De’Longhi Dinamica is an investment towards high quality home brewing.

Wonderful experience, far superior to the Philips Latte Go I had been using. Easy to use and clean. Easy to adjust size and strength, love the optionality via the menus. Looking forward to my coffee each day with this machine!

Love Our Morning Coffee!
Expensive? Yes! Worth it? We think so! We’ve talked about getting a real coffee machine for many years. Now we’ve done it! Enjoying our fancy coffees every single day. We use freshly roasted beans, coconut milk and stevia for our sweetener so the drinks are delicious but not full of calories.
