We use the Swiss Water Process that relies on caffeine solubility (dissolvability) and osmosis to remove caffeine from green coffee beans.
To begin the decaffeination process, green coffee beans are soaked in hot water to dissolve the caffeine. However, caffeine isn’t the only water-soluble substance present in coffee. Sugars and other chemical components that create the flavor and aromas of coffee we love can also dissolve in water. Tasting notes: Chocolate, Almond, Sweet Cream.

I am 100% pleased with this product and the triple bag purchase of 12 ounces X3 Provide 2 lbs. 4 oz. for about $30 with subscription. Please beans are from the mountains of Peru and will provide excellent coffee using a reasonable amount of freshly ground beans.I strongly recommend thereâs too many people who were disappointed with a more expensive decaf choice⦠I have tried them⦠This is the best product from the best location in the world and a better price. I love this decaf and have pretty much bought only bags of it and no other brands or kinds, for perhaps the last 10 bags of decaf I’ve had over a year or so. Somewhat sweet, rustic, roasty, and yet not too strong in taste, and well-decaffeinated. Get some!

Horrible Taste and Aftertaste! The product headline states it is “Delicious”, it is not delicious and far from delicious. I’ve been drinking decaf espresso for over 30 years and this is just horrible. Don’t Buy and waste your money. Thanks for nothing Amazon for not allowing returns on this product. Really mad that I cannot return this product. It is the worst espresso I have ever tasted!

Decent beans, good price
This is a decent swiss water decaf bean. It is a dry bean, not oily. The price us good too. For my particular taste, it reminds me of a milder french roast flavor, which is not my favorite. But, that is my taste preference; there is nothing wrong with the bean.

Great flavor, smooth. Love that the chemicals used in processing are minimal. Itâs a little pricey, but itâs so hard to find a good decaf and this stuff is worth that money. I buy one a month

Depends on the flavour profile you are looking for
Don’t get me wrong. This was a good decaf and perfectly drinkable. I tend to not drink coffee black, but rather do cappuccino / lattes. What I was looking for was a caramel chocolate type profile. Deep and rich. I found this coffee to have more fruit notes. Apricot comes to mind. For me it was missing the rich deep bold coffee flavour I was looking for. No real chocolate type flavour to me. Hard to describe, but best I can say is it was a bit too “bright” and acidic for me. Still a decent coffee. I did not throw it away. I ground and drank my way through it. Just not what I was after.

This is the best decaf I’ve tasted to date, and it is water processed with no additional chemicals, and organic . It’s not easy to find that combination and I am very pleased with this one. Just ordered three more bags.
