Not expresso ground but good and strong.
I like my coffee strong, black, and full bodied. Bout half cup for 3-4 regular cups of coffee. This coffee definitely is a REAL dark roast, so much it covers up the cinnamon I add once in a while but with this I canât taste because coffee overpowers it(thatâs good). I usually prefer espresso ground because itâs so fine almost dust and that itâs easily absorbed into the water and gives a really strong taste which is different than then this dark roast which is to me a fuller taste(not a richer taste) and this definitely has bigger pieces which is far as I know itâs an espresso roast because itâs like regular coffee size grounds and maybe yield a richer taste if grinded up more? Just myb2 cents .Importantly aside from being a truly dark roast that taste like coffee, itâs also organic itâs fair trade itâs sustainably sourced it was not too over priced and even using as much grinds as I do I get a lot more cups of coffee than I would at any store so I donât got a complaint to mention.

Did some research on coffees with less mold and this one was on the list, so we gave it a try. It is delicious and smooth, will be buying again.

Great coffee!
Smooth, no bitterness yet rich with notes of cocoa, perhaps the best coffee I ever tasted.I use this in my Bialetti espresso 3 cup pot. I wish it was ground just a bit finer. To compensate for the grind I have to pack it densely to get the richness and consistency that is a true Italian Espresso.

Just âthoughtâ it was âokayââ¦
Thought I had found another bag of âgoodâ coffee. Then one week they substituted it with a different coffeeâ¦ Now every cup is worth a moment of reflection. The caramel notes hit hard. I drink it black. Worth it.
