Great coffee & it’s adventure
Once coffee beans skyrocketed in price, I found these were reasonable and made great coffee. Recently, there was a wait in their availability but it was worth the wait. Then-a porch thief grabbed the package when it arrived, but he was chased by a neighbor, and threw it out of his backpack. I doubt he would have known how to deal with a coffee bean. So, my great coffee found its way to me! Have ordered many times and will continue to.

I have given up buying coffee in stores. They all look good, until you have a closer look. Most of them are roasted to death, so there is no aroma left, just the burnt taste. If I cannot get this coffee, I switch to tea, which is a poor substitute…

Amazing coffee ! Very flavorful, low acidity even when brewed strong.
I was first given Dallmayr Prodomo Whole Bean coffee as a gift from a colleague in Germany at least 15 years ago. Wow – I like it so much better than brands from the grocery-store, or even other imported coffees! Later, I was able to buy it from a coffee importer in our city, who subsequently decided to sell only in bulk. As I am the only coffee drinker in our family, buying 6 bags at a time is not an option. Now, thanks to Amazon, I can buy it two bags at a time, and it keeps fine. I only grind enough for one big cup at breakfast, and even using 2 Tbsp of beans for one 12-oz mug, it is not too acid or bitter. – just strong and smooth.

Baffled by the Beans?
I don’t get it. So many good reviews, this would have to be a winner. I dismissed the one star review from Packer Fan because it was so uncommon compared to all the others. However, they were right – one of the worst coffees. It was flat with no tantalizing aroma, and so bland that you would think you were drinking a k-cup that expired 6 years ago! I have to mix this with some fresh coffee beans to make it drinkable (why would I do that to fresh beans?) I hate to throw it out, so I’m trying to make it palatable. I advise you to pass on this one. I wish I had.
