Is this coffee is smooth
If you want to step away from dunkin’ donuts and other fast food restaurants with sub par coffee, here is your chance. I grind them at home and make the freshest cup of smooth and mild coffee. This is not the strongest coffee bean. It is flavourful.

Great coffee willy overpriced.
I actually loved this roast. Great flavor with real European flair. My only issue is the price. I just purchased this at a local high end grocery store for $10 less. I’ll pick it up localy from now on

Worst espresso beans of all time
I attempted to use in my breville 870xl and no matter what grind settings I selected I could not get any preassure to build up, just would flush thru. I am experienced barista and I can with say without any doubt that this is the worst espresso coffee I have ever came across. Beans taste ok but not for espresso machine for sure. Maybe for pressurised baskets is not this terrible but deffinitly no amount of tamping will pack this coffee down to create resistance inside non-pressurised one.

The real deal
If you are looking for original tasting European espresso, then this coffee from Dallmayr is a very good choice. Dallmayr is a large German upscale coffee brand, that you typically find in retail stores. It is not a boutique roaster, but fairly mainstream. Dallmayr also operates a gourmet grocery store at its headquarters in Munich. They still resisted the P&Gs and Nestlés of this world and are an independent family owned business. This coffee is no Starbucks joke, it is the real deal. Strong and dark, and gives you the jitters and the âgoâ if you are not used to this kind of coffee. As other mentioned, way overpriced from marketplace retailers. You may find it cheaper local, just like many other European items sold by marketplace vendors on Amazon.

New Packaging is Different
The wording on the new packaging is different than shown on website, and mostly all in German. It doesn’t say anything about the blend being Arabica & Robusto. I’m hoping that it’s the same blend as I got last time. I have not opened the bag yet. It’s good coffee if it’s the same one I got last time (from another source).
