While I have not had any issues with this mug, it does seem like the outside of it when heated in the microwave is extremely hot for an extremely long time. I am sure this is a thinner amount of material whatever they use to make it. Which is probably why the heat on the outside is retained for so long. So just be aware if you are using it for hot liquids, you will definitely need to use the handle. For me. This works perfectly for a single cup of hot chocolate. But depending on the amount of whatever you are drinking, this might be a bit on the small side for those mooring drinkers. I fit about one cup of milk in there with the drink mix and that is about all it can take.

This mug is customizable. I opted for the white on so I could try doing that myself. It is ceramic so should be microwaveable and dishwasher safe. Depending on how the company or you customize this will determine if you can microwave it or put it in the dishwasher. Overall it’s a nice mug.
