Super pleased! Yes, I researched espresso cups (and most other items I buy)
I’ve learned that just as wine glasses influence the wine consumption experience…coffee cups influence the coffee consumption experience. This is especially true for espresso. The little amount of coffee is prone to rapid heat loss and the crema will dissolve almost immediately if in a wide-mouthed cup.About these cups:1. I was surprised by the heavy weight of the cups and saucers. These are very cute yet substantial.2. To my delight, there is something magical about these cups. They are fun to hold, you can feel the warmth of the espresso, yet the espresso holds the heat long enough to enjoy. Further, these bring out a smoothness in the espresso I was not experiencing in two other cups.3. Was unsure of the brown but it is a deep coffee color and looks great next to or on my machine.Highly recommend.

Great set of espresso cups that match my ACF coffee cup set.
Pleasantly surprised by these cups. I have ACF coffee cups and just wanted to get matching espresso cups but couldn’t find them without purchasing in bulk. Took a chance and ordered these and they came pretty close to matching in both color and quality. 4 stars plus an extra star for the low cost.

Are these made in Italy or China?
Love the size an style. Strange thing – there is no “Country of Origin” printed on the box, the saucer or the cups.They look Italian, except the color is a bit off and the thickness of the cups is a bit off from the Italian cups Iam familiar with.

Perfect size for expresso (single shot). Nice and thick walls. The white painting inside of one of them has a few minor black dots, but nothing that would really bother me. The other a bit uneven spot, but I would still recommend it.
