Mastering the perfect cup of coffee is possible when you brew with Cuisinart’s versatile 2 in 1 Coffee Center GRIND & BREW PLUS. The built in coffee grinder mills whole beans into fine, even grounds just before brewing. Charcoal filtered hot water drip brews up to 12 cups into the stylish glass carafe. Set 24 hour advance brewing and select the boldness of the coffee and exactly how much to brew. Need a cup for a midday pick me up or take away travel mug? Select the Pod option for single serve convenience. Just insert any single cup pod into the brew chamber, select an 8 –, 10 –, or 12 ounce cup and, in minutes, and enjoy hot, fresh coffee
Note: 1)Too coarse a grind, too little coffee, or insufficiently tamping the grounds before brewing can all lead to inadequate pressure for a proper brew. 2)It is important to note that the amount of espresso extracted will vary depending on the grind size and amount and reprogramming may be needed when the size and amount are adjusted
SINGLE-SERVE: Enjoy three serving sizes – 8 ounces, 10 ounces, or 12 ounces – compatible with any brand of single cup pod including Keurig K-Cup pods and our very own HomeBarista pod filter (not included)
SUPERIOR FUNCTIONALITY: Our single-serve brewer has a 40oz removable water reservoir and removable adjustable drip tray for travel mugs
GRIND AND GO: Grinds whole beans right before brewing to produce fresh and flavorful coffee and additionally supports unique grind-off feature when you’d like to serve pre-ground blends
12-CUP GLASS CARAFE: Includes drip-free pour spout, knuckle guard for added protection, carafe lid, and ergonomic comfort grip stainless-steel and black handle with matching stainless-steel and black body to perfectly pair with your kitchen appliances
Customers say
Customers appreciate the coffee maker’s good coffee quality and cup capacity. However, some find it overpriced, with a cheap grinder and difficulty cleaning. There are mixed opinions on its functionality, ease of use, and grind quality.

Out of the box coffee maker, grinder, single serve (K-cup)
Tested only for 24hrs, at this point- coffee easy to make, understanding the grinder portion- easy, taste of fresh coffee- good.. Easy to follow directions, only complaint and not even worth a deduction, just something to be aware of- the grinding chamber- LOUD… other then that, no complaints, good coffee, does what it’s supposed to do. Yes, you have to clean the grinder, but seriously- ok, maybe it takes 30 seconds…and yes you have to either throw out the filter (paper) or clean out the gold filter… I prefer the simplicity in throwing out a filter. Overall- sure, there could be a few things easier (for convenience) but not a show stopper. Removable water reservoir would be nice, water level meter on the kcup side would be nice, quieter grinder… But it does what it’s supposed to do, grinds and makes fresh coffee… First product of this type for me (with added grinder) and I can say at this point- yes, I enjoy it, well done, hope it serves for a long time.

Makes a great cup of coffee
We didn’t know how bad our last coffee maker was….. Makes a great cup of coffee…. Beans grinds well but it does create more clean up than just the grounds basket before next pot Timed brew was easy to set and has performed perfect. The pod side does well and it let’s you pick 10 or 12 oz of water to customize your tea or coffee. So good overall hope it last awhile

Overpriced and over-engineered. This is a situation where less would’ve been more.
We bought this in July, 2021 and it works as advertised. I like that we can set it up the night before and wake up to coffee made from freshly ground beans – that’s why we bought it, but there are design issues. For one thing you cannot grind coffee while pouring water, the lid has to be down. Also the warmer turns off if you raise the lid, as you must do to clean the grind cup. So say you want to clean the cup right away to get ready for a second pot the warmer turns off as soon as you raise the lid. I don’t see how that’s got anything to do with safety, the warmer turns off after a pre-determined time anyway. My biggest gripe is the K-cup feature. You are forced to choose between making 8, 10 or 12 oz. It has a sensor that will not allow the K-cup to brew until you have enough water. So there is ALWAYS water remaining in the reservoir – a perfect place for bacteria or fungi to grow if you don’t use it daily. It is also very difficult to clean as you have to unplug it and dump it to get the water out. A more elegant and simpler design would be for the unit to use all the water you put in. You can use the vessel you intend to drink from to fill the reservoir and all the water comes through every time. I’ve had other units that worked that way and never had a problem. In short, I don’t recommend – at $230 it is too expensive for all the fuss.

Makes Great Coffee
Makes a great pot of freshly ground coffee. This coffee maker is difficult to clean and you have to clean out the coffee hopper/grinder after each pot of coffee. Some beans donât get ground. Oilier coffees stick to the grinder and donât drop into the basket. Had it for over a year and still works well.

Perfect for my lifestyle!
I love the Cuisinart brand! This is a very high-quality piece during the week. I typically make one to 2 cups of coffee for myself and use the pod. On the weekend, I have company and use the pot. Iâve brewed both ground coffee and Iâve used the grinder with whole beans. Both work seamlessly. Itâs easy to clean and easy to use. The mess is nonexistent because of the drip tray on the pod. It bruised the coffee fairly quickly either way and is quiet. I would buy this again or give it as a gift if someone needed a new coffee maker. A+ in my book.

Inferior product
I will start by saying this is my 3rd Cuisinart Grind and Brew system. I was happy with the previous ones, but this one is not the same quality. The machine is so tall that it can not be kept on my kitchen counter underneath the upper cabinets because you can not open it up under there. The 2 water reservoirs are extremely difficult to pour the water into for 2 reasons…I am not a tall person (5 foot) and it is too high to see where the VERY NARROW hole is that the water needs to go into. I have to stand on a step stool and use a funnel in order to get the water into the reservoir without it wetting the bean grinder. In addition there is no way to control the strength of the coffee to make a full pot while using the grinder because I can fully fill the grinder with the beans and pour in 12 cups water for a full pot, and it comes out weak. The other side of the pot is for prefilled (Keurig type) pods and it is also very difficult to get the water into that reservoir and there is absolutely no way to control the coffee strength. Luckily for me, Amazon is taking this as a return with a full refund. I was very disappointed in this one. See photo for height of this machine.
