    Great tasting coffee!
The coffee maker is a perfect size for my husband and I. The five cups is more than enough coffee on a weekend morning. Best tasting cup of coffee ever.

    Very disappointing purchase! Poorly designed.
I’ve had Cuisinart coffee makers as long as I’ve been drinking coffee. This is the worst, most poorly designed coffee maker I’ve ever had. And they make you find the users manual using a QR code vs just giving it to you. I am totally dissatisfied!

    Love it!
Was surprised by how good this relatively inexpensive coffeemaker is compared to my previous more “expensive” brewers. Fast, good flavor and easy to use and clean. Good price/quality ratio. I am quite satisfied.

Small size, good coffee but two annoying issues
Overall not a bad coffee maker, especially for the price. The two annoyances are 1) the spout on the carafe is not quite right and you will spill water or coffee unless you pour very slowly. 2) the unit automatically turns off after 30 minutes. That’s fine but if you use all of the coffee before then there is no way to get it to turn off. Once you press the start button it is going to brew and stay on for 30 mins unless you unplug it. Kinda weird

    Quality
The water spills and does not function well- and you can’t even control the coffee temperature – it gets cold and quickly

    Makes Decent Coffee
This brewer makes a good, hot cup of coffee but it brews a little bit on the bitter side of taste. You have to experiment with the amount of coffee you put in the brew basked to find the right mix.It is not 800 watts as stated in the description (and stated on the Cuisinart website). It is just 600 watts per the label on the bottom. This is important because of how hot it heats the water to release flavor from the coffee grinds. It does brew hot coffee, but this is a very deceptive practice on Cuisinart’s part as they have over stated power on other coffee brewers I’ve tried from them.It is very easy to keep clean and compact in size. It will be easy to descale. The water reservoir can be removed to fill. It is not necessary. I fill the pot with water and then pour it in the reservoir up top without removing it.The reason I purchased this brewer was because of the higher wattage rating and it’s supposed ability to brew hotter. It isn’t anymore powerful than other similar size brewers. I am hoping that over time it holds up and doesn’t end up putting out just lukewarm coffee after two years.

    disappointed in design and function
I was excited during unboxing and setup. I had to run about 6 pots of water thru before the water ran clear. I used the reusable filter and it became coated with a film that was difficult to remove. assuming it is residue from plastic molding or some manufacturing process. What I liked: the brew has great flavor, was reasonable quick ~5min for full pot. appearance. easy to fill water reservoir. Dislikes: there is a holder for the brewing basket that slides in, does nothing but hold brewing basket, provides no value to the system and brew basket is flush with top so 3 of five times I used it the filter paper folded over and grounds were in the brew, poor design. on/off button is impossible to decipher what the lights blinking mean or how to turn off/on etc, instructions included on box or online are useless to help. When pouring coffee from carafe, it spills down the side, the top or spout aren’t correct. if I remove the top it is better but only improves by half. for the money and based on maker I expected much better and am returning it to purchase a MR Coffee that is less $$ and will work better.
