Make the perfect cup for one with the Grind & Brew Single-Serve Brewer by Cuisinart®. Designed to brew the most flavorful coffee with ease and convenience, this compact coffeemaker grinds whole beans to the ideal consistency for optimal flavor using a conical burr grinder, then feeds them into the HomeBarista ® reusable filter cup to be brewed. The HomeBarista ® can also be filled with pre-ground coffee or you can use your favorite single-use coffee pod. With three ways to brew and three size options, crafting the perfect cup is easy, fast, and extra enjoyable!
Note: 1)Too coarse a grind, too little coffee, or insufficiently tamping the grounds before brewing can all lead to inadequate pressure for a proper brew. 2)It is important to note that the amount of espresso extracted will vary depending on the grind size and amount and reprogramming may be needed when the size and amount are adjusted.Filter type:Reusable
SINGLE-SERVE: Enjoy three serving sizes with push button control – 8-ounces, 10-ounces or 12 ounces – compatible with any brand of single cup pod including Keurig K-Cup pods with an optional reusable filter cup so you can use your own coffee through our HomeBarista Cuisinart features
SUPERIOR FUNCTIONALITY: Our single-serve brewer has a 48-ounce removable water reservoir that complements its charcoal water filter and removable drip tray for travel mugs
GRIND YOUR BEANS: Our conical burr mill automatically grinds whole beans directly into the HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup which is conveniently located in the storage compartment on the left side of the unit – The hopper holds 100-grams of beans and sealed lid keeps beans fresh
SIMPLIFY YOUR MORNING: Fill your tank with ease featuring our easy-view water window and brew a single serving with freshly ground beans or use your favorite pod

I LOVE this coffee maker so much!!!!
No, I do not work for Cuisinart. I got this coffee maker after hesitating because it said that the item gets returned often. So I almost didn’t get it. But I did because Cuisinart makes good quality equipment. Man, I love it. It works so well!!! I am not easily impressed by coffee machines, either. This is so easy to use and so fast! Such good coffee! So flexible, too. I don’t use the pods, but you can use those, too. No issues, have had it for a week. I made 90 weight by using my Cuisinart grinder on fine and stuffed it into the pod. No problems, just great coffee.I take coffee seriously. I buy it usually 100 pounds at a time green and roast. So when I say it’s a good coffee maker, you know it’s a good coffee maker.

I’m so glad my Keurig broke!
This is the best single-serve coffee maker I have ever had. I love that I get to use whole bean coffee, have it freshly ground and then brew it right away. It brews a full, generous 12 oz. cup of coffee. I had no idea with my Keurig I wasn’t getting a full cup. While it’s grinding, if I need to refill the water reservoir, it still grinds so it can multi-task. The brew basket has a thin piece of plastic for the hinge that already broke but I know I can replace the brew basket inexpensively. I can still use it. I just place the top on it before brewing. When it comes to refilling the coffee beans in the grinder, the only way I have found to do it is to spoon it in. That is a little tedious and sometimes the beans ricochet and go elsewhere but that’s minor. After grinding the beans, I always tap the top of the grinder, the front of the grinder, and the brew basket because it tends to spill leftover ground coffee on the tray. It kind of works. Not foolproof. It seems there are always leftover grounds. I am very pleased with this coffee maker. It is so smartly engineered and makes a great cup of coffee!

not up to Cuisinart product standards
I purchased The Cuisinart Single Coffee Maked on Dec1, 2024…..brand spanking newI am quite disappointed in the Cuisinart Coffee Maker as it does not live up to its quality imageThe brewer is incapable of brewing the correct amount of coffee as it apparently is not able to brew a 8, 10, 12 oz cup of coffee.I press for 8oz and I get 4ozI press for 10oz and I get 8oz sometimes and sometimes between 6 & 8 oz cup of coffeeI press for 12oz and I get between 8 & 10 oz cup of coffeeI had followed all the directions for 1st time set up and running water filter, cup brewing etcThe grinder is a lot noisier than my regular grinderThe coffee filter is narrow and long and thus paper filters does not fit properlyI have tried coffee filter both with and without paper filters and it constantly spits out more than a few grinded coffee…about a tablespoon+I bought the Cuisinart Coffee Brewer because image of quality and construction….it’s actually a terrible coffee brewer…I had originally planned to purchase both the single brew and a full carafe brewer and now I have decided not to purchase the full carafe brewer….and I will review other brands to purchase…Definitely it is a “NO” recommendation for this Cuisinart

One month review
Our Keurig gave out after several years of heavy use. We used a grinder for our beans and then put them into a reusable filter to make our coffee. So this coffee maker would clear up some space on our counters and keep grinding and brewing central. Here are my impressions one month in. For the sake of brevity Iâll keep comments brief.Coffee Taste:This thing makes great tasting coffee! Iâve enjoyed my coffee so much more with this maker.Quality of Build:Maker feels cheap with a lot of plastic so I am concerned about its longevity. I bought a warranty just in case.Reservoir:Only two people in our home and we find ourselves filling the reservoir often. It is much smaller than the previous Keurig we had.Grinder:This is the feature that should make this maker shine and some senses it does. Here are few insights:- The grind cannot be adjusted. However, Iâve found it to be perfect for a wonderful cup.- The motor housing comes up right in the middle of the hopper and takes up a lot of real estate. So it takes care to fill the hopper up without bouncing beans off of the motor housing onto the counter.- The amount of coffee ground is pre-determined with one touch but you can stop and start the grind with another push of the grind button if you wish to.It can be messy. Grounds do âjumpâ out at times during the grinding. At times the amount of ground coffee is higher than the brim of the filter and it gets scraped off when removing the filter from under the grinder. The way I avoid this scraping off of grounds is to shake the filter during or after the grinding process to lower the level enough to avoid spillage. We have noticed when removing the tray from the platform that there is a lot of grounds loss underneath. I think this comes from the actual grinding process and also from what falls from the grinderâs mouth when the machine is bumped or moved. To clean up errant grounds we have a small Fantik handheld vacuum that we keep under a cabinet to quickly suck up any mess. This isnât a big deal because the presence of any grinder is going to result in some grounds needing to be cleaned up every day. Here are some things I wish the maker had: an iced-coffee option, and a timer for auto on and off.All in all because of the great tasting coffee this machine makes, we are going to hold on to it.

Great Coffee
Great coffee maker, you have 2 choices, the pods or grind your own.The reason there is a notation that this item is returned often, is because there is some work, cleaning and trowing out the coffee grind. ( I recycle the grinds on my flower bed, great fertilizer)But the coffee is great, and a little bit of work is ok. You want fast coffee with no work, you have to go and buy it from one of the coffee establishment, but you will pay a small fortune for something this coffee maker can do for you.If you are not afraid of some work, this coffee maker is great. Buy it you won’t rgret it.
