I loved this coffee maker at my cottage all summer. Bought a second one for home and ditched a different brand of bean to brew maker that never worked as well. Flavour is always perfect.

Cusinart took their previous model of this coffee maker and made it better! The burr grinder is critical for great tasting coffee and now itâs self cleaning! Brilliant!This is my third Cusinart grind and brew coffee maker and they keep making them better. Itâs used daily and I get about 12 to 15 years out of a unit. Thatâs pretty reasonable considering so many products are junk these days.Highly recommended!

Ideal grind and brew at this price point
Easy to use and clean, special-run white model that looks good in ubiquitous all-white kitchens. Did not find this model anywhere else. Hopper is sealed to keep beans reasonably fresh. Easily adjustable to yield desired strength of coffee. Only drawback is grind is set to coarse-medium grind degree that produces slightly under-extracted coffee. I believe this can be adjusted, but will require a call to Cuisinart support or possibly youtube. Will likely void warranty but at this price point, it seems of little consequence. The grinder isnât the loudest Iâve heard but does terrify the cats at first. They will get used to it. Itâs lovely to wake up to the sound of my coffee being prepared for me. Very happy with this purchase; would buy again in a heart beat.

Do not recommend
The bean holder doesnât seem to allow beans to enter the grinder therefore does not allow appropriate amount of beans to be ground per designated pot size. Not the sameQuality as prior cuisinart grind and brew. Loved the prior generation grind and brew. Do not recommend this newer model.Canât give it zero stars.

I would not buy this again. While it does make coffee at least, there are three significant flaws. 1) it is INSANELY loud. The first morning I had it went off I could hear it from my room and it sounded like a small plane landing. Iâve tried covering the top with towels, but itâs just loud. 2) the carafe. The carafe is horrible. The lid is difficult to put on and remove. The pour spout is so small it barely pours and you have to tilt the carafe almost vertical. The lid also catches some residual coffee which can spill if youâre not careful. Also, the way the carafe is designed it is difficult to clean, due to the top opening being small. 3) It does NOT keep the coffee warm after making. Iâve searched and everything says it just turns off. And the carafe does not keep the coffee warm for long. Iâve had to adjust the time of the program multilevel times to try to get it juuuuust right, so itâs ready when I need it and only sits for maybe a minute or so. Even then, the coffee is just not that hot. I have a previous generation at my work office and I would take that one any day. Not as loud, normal carafe, and actually makes hot coffee. I do NOT recommend this coffeemaker.

Works great. Fresh ground coffee is much better tasting than pre-ground. It’s a bit loud, but worth it

Coffee maker is good, thermal carafe is terrible
I’m not as much of a coffee aficionado as other people, so the coffee maker itself is good for me.I can use either ground coffee or whole beans, and the adjustments work well enough for my needs. The coffee maker seems well built and good quality, although time will tell on this.However, the thermal carafe it came with is terrible. It spills nearly every single time no matter how slow and careful I pour it. It got to be so annoying I started taking the top off every time I pour with it. This is disappointing and an extra cost since I now have to get a replacement carafe.

Not Good- Coffee Grinds in the Last Gulps!
DISAPPOINTED!! Had high hopes for this coffee maker. This was purchased to replace our DGB-550BK Grind & Brew which we used for about 13 years!! This model actually makes great coffee but there are issues that overshadow the taste of the coffee.1) Grounds, grounds, grounds…don’t like drinking coffee grounds2) Carafe drips/dribbles down the front when pouring the hot coffee- poor engineering & creates a mess3) Opening and location of water receptacle is too small and requires you to turn coffee maker sideways to pour water into it (without spilling water all over the counter or having coffee maker fall off counter)These may not seem big issues, but it makes the coffee drinking experience a bummer! Looking into a Breville…
