nice features but a pain to clean
this is nice brewer and grinder all in one. i dont understand why the grinder and basket coudnt be combined like on other brands. i got this because my black and decker grind and brew of many years started leaking. the black and decker was easy to clean, this item is not. its a mess and a pain. simplicity is not its hallmark, too many moving parts to be cleaned after each use. was easy to put together and program. the coffee tastes good and the blade grinder does a good job. the coffee tastes good from here and the temp is perfect for extracting flavor from coffee but i find my self not using it daily as it is a messy pain to clean. I find my self leaning more towards espresso and tea. I do have a separate burr grinder but wanted something all in one and so far aside from flavor this coffee maker is disappointing, i find my self thinking that using a regular maker and ground coffee is a better option than this.

Cuisinart grinder/brewer
coffee maker does an outstanding job at producing the product but there are a number of parts involved to be cleaned and that it is a bit disturbing.

I get what u pay for
If u like to clean or have time to clean after every use this is the product for you it’s ok to rinse after use but this one u have to wash after EVERY USE

Love the smell
Of fresh ground and brewed coffee, even better when I can set it up the night before and wake up to the smell without getting out of bed.

Love Cuisinart..
I always go to Cuisinart first for small appliances. Got this coffee maker cause I wanted the grinder for whole beans. However I’m not happy with the actual glass coffee pot. Every time it spills coffee while pouring! Looked at website for a replacement and there aren’t any.

It makes good coffee.
A bit complicated and it works better with a paper filter in it. Unless you like drinking coffee grinds.
