When i first used the single serve side, the pod exploded and grinds were all over the cup plastic and the bottom of the lid where the pod seats. Called cuisineart and they gave me suggestions. I tried them and now unit doesnât leak grinds but there hardly any coffee in the cup. Itâs almost clear. And it leaks an excessive amount of water outside of normal residual steam when you open the top back up to retrieve used pod. So i decided it needed to be replaced. Well they didnât offer me the option of a replacement, only a refund which wonât be issued until january second. I needed this coffeemaker before christmas. So i complained and although they said they will get my refund within 24 hours tge unit is now $100 more. And before i got something done about getting refund faster via chat, i talked to a live agent who told me i wound have refund within 3 hours only to find out later after talking to someone else it will not be until January 2nd before i get it. So now iâll wait and see if i actually get the refund within 24 hours. At any rate, the price should have been locked into the original price i paid. Itâs not my fault electronic items tend to get damaged through the delivery process as iâm sure stuff gets thrown around somewhere in the process of shipment. Dropped or whatever. The package was in decent condition but all it takes is one good drop or item getting slammed and the electronics are damaged. Now to be fair iâm not saying this occurs all the time or even often. Iâve had really good customer service for the most part for years with Amazon. This time was different.

Me encantÃ³, corroborÃ© la funciÃ³n de la jarra de cafÃ© y el expresso, todo muy bien.Trae unas pequeÃ±as bolsitas de carbÃ³n que funcionan para mantener la calidad del agua, excelente detalle.FÃ¡cil de usar, solo me falta probar con las cÃ¡psulas krup, con la de Nespresso no hubo detalle alguno, solo basta con acomodar bien y aunque no es tan rÃ¡pida para hacer el cafÃ© como una cafetera Nespresso, el tiempo tampoco es exagerado asÃ que muy bien. âºï¸No le doy el 10 porque me falta probar una funciÃ³n.El cable es algo corto de igual manera pero pues con una extensiÃ³n ya estÃ¡.

We were Ninja users for the past few years, and I went through lemon after lemon with them. So when the 3rd one in a year decided to kick it, I decided to research to find out what I should replace it with. I wanted something that does a pot of coffee, and lattes and doesn’t break within 6 months. We haven’t had it 6 months yet, but I’m writing a review anyway because it is so much better than the Ninja, it isn’t even comparable. The BOLD feature for brewing coffee makes the best pot of coffee I have ever made at home. People are complimenting the coffee and wondering what we are doing to make it so good. We use pre-ground Starbucks and filtered water: nothing special, but the results with the BOLD feature are fresh and tasty. It took some time to learn how to use it, but I love my machine! Hopefully, it will last for years!

Full review including comments on others negative experiences
I read a lot of negative reviews and after owning the device I wanted to comment on some of these and offer my opinion overall. My first suggestion is READ the manual it is very good, and most negative reviews I saw would have been solved by reading.One review stated the lights are too dim, which I find a bit puzzling, unless the reviewer filled the kitchen with halogen lights, I found the light level was fine.One review stated the beep noise made after coffee brew completion was so loud it woke up the entire house. I ran the cleaning cycle for all three functions and the single beep was barely discernable in the next room, with a very open floor plan. In the same room the single beep was perfect.One review stated the controls are not intuitive and hard to operate. I agree and disagree. The control setup is not the most intuitive; however, the manual is very, very good at explaining. Given the numerous options (Nespresso pod, K cup and regular carafe) after running the cleaning cycles I easily understood how the device worked.One review stated they couldn’t figure out how to turn off the carafe warmer, or where to put the water to brew the full carafe. I used the on/off button to turn it off and read the manual to see the diagram where to put the water.One review stated the mild frother wand was too low to put a cup under it easily. It is extremely adjustable, in multiple ways.Overall, I really like this coffee maker, it replaced a K cup pot, electric milk heater/frother, and electric tea kettle. In addition to replacing three appliances, I also have a full carafe coffee pot when company is over and added the ability to use the Nespresso pods too.I recommend washing the removable parts in the dishwasher and following the cleaning cycles for all functions before use.

Satisfied but here’s some advice
I’ve been using the SS-4N1 for 2 weeks now having tried all functionality of this coffee maker. Having been a Keurig coffee maker owner for several years I wanted to have more options for making coffee so this product fit the bill. It makes excellent drip coffee, easy to use. I also find that it makes a better k-cup coffee then my keurig machine did, which is weird but true for me. The Nespresso is also excellent. I have nothing to compare it to as I have never owned a Nespresso coffee maker. That being said, I am truly enjoying the Nespresso pod coffee as well. I can’t speak much of the steam wand as I have only used it for hot water but it has worked perfectly fine for that purpose.Tips: 1. Run a rinse brew after using either the K-cup or Nespresso pods. This will help keep all parts of the single serve side clean and free from coffee grinds and odd tastes. 2. If you have problems with lifting the lid from the single serve side after making a Nespresso you’re not alone. I had this problem initially but found that using original Nespresso pods worked much better. Also, if you can’t release the handle and lift the lid after a Nespresso brew, running a K-cup brew (without the cup of course) has helped release the pressure and allowed users to open the lid.Overall, I would say this is easily my favorite coffee maker I have owned. It does everything I want for making coffee and does it well. I highly recommend getting the Cuisinart Home Barista reusable K-cup basket. It will save you money and allow you to use your favorite coffee grinds. Hope this helps anybody considering buying this machine. I have no regrets!
