I like everything about this Cuckoo K-Cup coffee brewer. Simple to use, nice capacity water tank, and not too many moving parts to fail. Variable sizes from 6-14 ounces are possible with this machine, and thereâs a filter basket for loose tea and your own blends of coffee. Donât worry if youâve never heard of this brand because itâs newer to America, but has been a reliable and solid brand in business worldwide since 1978. They make one of the bestselling rice cookers in the world along with several other kitchen appliances and home goods such as air purifiers. Cuckoo stands behind their products and offers a full warranty on this pod brewer. Great, nicely priced compact machine for home, office or school dorms. Simple to use, excellent results
My oldest has had so many issues finding an easy to use, small unit for brewing coffee when he is at the cabin. We have a high end, multi tasking coffee brewer that he wonât touch for fear he will break it. I sat this out with some prefilled cups of his favorite beans and said nothing. He actually brewed his own coffee without out any help from the peanut gallery, it is uncomplicated and efficient, small and alerts the user to use self cleaning function. He says the coffee is great and even brewed some sleepytime tea in it. This is a great little unit, price point is more than reasonable and very easy to use. Highly recommended

It’s perfect! Works well, takes up very little space, holds a lot of water.
I’ve never switched over to an electric coffee maker… I’ve still been making coffee with a coffee press or moka pot. But now I’ve got two teenagers so I agreed to get them a coffee maker.This one is perfect! It works well and brews the coffee for a variety of different sized vessels. The most important part to me is that it is very narrow on the counter so doesn’t waste space. The water reservoir is large for the size of the coffee maker.It’s very simple to use and it’s getting a lot of use! So far it’s had no problems at all but I’ll come back and update if it stops working so you’ll know if it lasts. I’m very happy with this coffee maker and will recommend it to my mom, also.

I returned serval other coffeemakers that I got from amazon until I got this CUCKOO. This coffeemaker does great job and I am loving it! The 5 options for size selection is amazing. And I am glad that I can make k-cup and none k-cup coffees including tea. I definitely recommend this product.

Great Coffee Machine
I potentially has a Hamilton Breach Hot/Cold Coffee Maker but the provided filter broke and I tried to purchase a replacement but just mailing the item cost more than the item. Trying to find the attachment on Amazon didnât work out. So in searching for another coffee maker, I came Avis this since I know Cuckoo is a reliable brand Plus this machine has 2 attachments (1 for coffee grains/dry tea leaves & casing for K-Cup), seeing this sold me on this purchase. Since getting it home, it has been great and ten times better than my pervious machine.

Works great…
Bought one almost like this off another site but the top wouldn’t shut so it would not brew. I like this because it has the water in the back and you don’t have to keep dumping water in when you want a cup of coffee. Very quiet which was surprising. The only thing I think is sorta dumb is the name, but other than that it’s a 10+.

Compact and sleek, but slow
I got this coffee maker knowing that Cuckoo is a highly reputed kitchen appliance brand (i.e. rice cookers) and was intrigued at their foray into coffee. I’m a novice coffee snob, but can appreciate the compromise in convenience vs. quality in K-cups. Here are my thoughts after initial use:Pros:- Compact & sleek: It is very lightweight and occupies very little countertop real estate. It looks very nice and would fit in any modern kitchen.- It comes with two adapters: One for regular single-use K-cups, and a reusable K-cup adapter to add your own grinds. This was important for me as I have a grinder and wanted to reduce waste from plastic K-cups.- Very easy interface: Just one button to cycle through cup size (with highly customizable volumes of 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14oz), and another button to brew. No fancy touch-screens that are failure-prone.- Removable water basin in the back: This allows very easy filling as I can bring the basin directly to my sink and reattach it to the machine without having to lug an additional pitcher around to refill.- Regular Kcups seem to taste pretty consistent with other Keurig machinesCons:- Time to brew: This was a big one for me, as one of the biggest advantages of Keurig machines nowadays are how quickly they can brew. An 8oz cup takes 175 seconds (per the manual). That’s a 3-minute brew cycle, which is much longer than other machines I’ve used. If you want a bigger cup, the 12oz and 14oz brews take 220 seconds and 245 seconds, respectively. Granted, this device is smaller than others that I’ve used, so the heating element is likely not as efficient, but definitely worth noting.- Resuable Kcup flavor is weak: I have my own burr grinder that I used to fill the resuable K-cup adapter to the max fill-line. Despite the maximum addition of ~12g of fresh coffee grinds, the 10oz brew was still quite weak. I may need to experiment with grind size and quantity, but overall the depth of flavor was lacking. This does seem par for the course for reusable Kcups though, so I don’t think this product is inferior to anything else on the market, but obviously cannot compare to a traditional drip coffee machine. The metal mesh strainer also does let some grinds through, so I was left with a few grinds at the bottom of my cup. Perhaps a single-use paper filter may fix this, but then adds to the complexity/waste as well.- I can’t fit my travel mug under the machine to brew directly into it: I need to brew into a regular mug, then pour into my travel mug.All in all, this product is great for what it is: a sleek, low-footprint Kcup maker that is simple to use. It’s an elegant addition to any compact kitchen that seeks to conserve counter space. However, the small size does compromise brew speed. Great anyone looking for a basic cup of coffee.
