Rothrock puts its money where its mouth is with this excellent coffee. An wonderful pairing with a relaxing saturday afternoom, or a hectic monday morning!Brewed on my Chemex a gorgeous caramel color is displayed and with a complex taste to boot. The profile is tea-like and the tasting notes are a balance of (from my novice tastebuds) spices like Nutmeg and floral notes possibly Jasmine.A wonderful start to any day and a perfect segway into the crazy world of Specialty Coffee!

Rothrock Coffee is fantastic. I’ve been purchasing their coffees since their opening a few years ago. The blends ahve not been my favorites, but this one is a notch up. They excel at single origin beans – though these aren’t available on Amazon.Give this one a try … you won’t be disappointed.

On the bitter side, can’t really taste the flavors
I am not much of a coffee drinker but I do enjoy an occasional cuppa if it is flavored. The bag came well sealed and in whole bean form. My first impression was that it is quite bitter, but thought that was just me. I didn’t taste anything but coffee. I made a cup for my husband, didn’t tell him my opinion. He did not taste the cherry or chocolate, just a hint of almond. He also said it was bitter and did not finish the cup. He also said he would not purchase it. The taste of coffee and how people drink it is an individual preference so this review should be treated as thus.

Creekside Medium-Roast Whole Bean Coffee 12 oz Rothrock
This Creekside variety is a whole bean medium-roast blend of coffee beans from Brazil and Colombia and stated to have cherry, almond and milk chocolate notes. I admit to usually not tasting the provided flavor notes but with this coffee I could smell the cherry, almond and milk chocolate from the beans and after brewing also taste them.The combination of beans creates a smooth, satisfying brew that is slightly bright with no bitterness but a bit of acidity that adds complexity. I used a burr grinder set on medium and brewed in a basic automatic drip machine and even with this simple method the coffee was delicious. Re-sealable 12 ounce pouch. Excellent medium-roast.

The coffee I received is a cherry chocolate, and I have to say that the aroma is wonderful. The coffee itself is delicious,. and you can taste both the chocolate and the cherry. I absolutely love this coffee (mainly because I love both chocolate and cherry, and having them mixed together is heaven). I would definitely recommend this coffee to others, and I am going to try the other varieties, too.
