I really like the concept of this design but it is very thin glass. It’s easy to clean, nice size for a cup of tea, love the lid to design to hold heat in.

Although it feels fragile at first I’ve put it in the microwave and used it pouring from a boiling saucepan and it infused well.You cannot use loose herbs that have very small pieces without some of the leaves settling on the bottom but if you don’t mind that ( which I do not) , then this set is great and very nice looking as well

Glass seems fragile. Thinner than expected. Works well but feel I will have to be very careful. The tea strainer works well and allows the tea to seep through, but when pulling the strainer out of a cup, it takes a while for the water remaining to drip into the cup.

It’s also the distilled water but the kettle makes the tea taste purer (no metal or plastic residual tastes). We wanted to extend that to our mugs so bought these lightweight but sturdy ones and have not been disappointed. Made our first cup of tea today using these and absolutely love them! Even compared to porcelain and fine china, these just result in a clearer cup of tea. Be forewarned, the body of the mug gets super hot but thankfully the substantial handle remains room temperature so no scalding there. The lid is amazing too especially if you don’t finish your tea all at once and come back to it later to top up with hot water – keeps any airborne particles out which will be even more relevant on summer days in the garden. Can’t comment on the loose tea filter yet as we’ve not used it but love the fact that it’s glass. Will update once we’ve tried that part out. But as a mug, it’s 5 stars all the way! And like another reviewer, it’s true, they do look deceptively smaller than their 400ml capacity which they are – I checked!
