So very cute but just very thin
I bought 2 of these mugs to make fresh herbal tea and they are so fun, functional, and cute. The only issue that I have is that they are very thin and feel to be fragile so I just donât put them in the dishwasher or microwave.

The walls of the glass cups appear thin and fragile but thatâs not a problem. It works well and does hold 14 ounces right to the brim as advertised. Draw back: DONOT PUT THE LID ATOP OF CUP WHILE STEPPING YOUR TEA:⦠the glass conducts heat extremely well . Use the lid as a catch basin to collect your tea drippings from the leaves or tea bag . I like the concept, but very thin glass
I really like the concept of this design but it is very thin glass. Itâs easy to clean, nice size for a cup of tea, love the lid to design to hold heat in.

Delicate feel and appearance
Although it feels fragile at first I’ve put it in the microwave and used it pouring from a boiling saucepan and it infused well.You cannot use loose herbs that have very small pieces without some of the leaves settling on the bottom but if you don’t mind that ( which I do not) , then this set is great and very nice looking as well

The glass cup is fragile, but works well as long as youâre going to be careful.
Glass seems fragile. Thinner than expected. Works well but feel I will have to be very careful. The tea strainer works well and allows the tea to seep through, but when pulling the strainer out of a cup, it takes a while for the water remaining to drip into the cup.

Dangerous! I knocked brew cup over and it shattered…almost exploded…sent glass slivers all over my counter. I’m not even contacting company because there’s no way I want something so cheaply made in my home

We have a glass kettle made of the same glass and everyone who has a cup of tea/coffee at ours always comment on how good it is. It’s also the distilled water but the kettle makes the tea taste purer (no metal or plastic residual tastes). We wanted to extend that to our mugs so bought these lightweight but sturdy ones and have not been disappointed. Made our first cup of tea today using these and absolutely love them! Even compared to porcelain and fine china, these just result in a clearer cup of tea. Be forewarned, the body of the mug gets super hot but thankfully the substantial handle remains room temperature so no scalding there. The lid is amazing too especially if you don’t finish your tea all at once and come back to it later to top up with hot water – keeps any airborne particles out which will be even more relevant on summer days in the garden. Can’t comment on the loose tea filter yet as we’ve not used it but love the fact that it’s glass. Will update once we’ve tried that part out. But as a mug, it’s 5 stars all the way! And like another reviewer, it’s true, they do look deceptively smaller than their 400ml capacity which they are – I checked!
