Handy Item To Have!
I bought this with the intention of using it for the homemade “Coffee Juice” I make for my husband. It served that purpose faitly well, meeting all my expectations. One thing I found was that after shaking and pouring his juice, it would drip down the outside of the jar. I’m not sure if it wasbam inherent problem with the lid, or with my hubby’s lack of care. So I’m finding otjer uses – using for shaking thickeners, storing pour-off juices, etc. A variety if uses for which a glass wide mouth jar works well, with the plus of pouring liquids. The extra seal rings are a very nice bonus, and the lids are easy to use and easy to wash. I gave one to a friend, who is finding it handy to store her pickles in. She uses a touch of brine in several dishes she makes and the lid makes it easier than ever to pour out the small amounts she needs with no hassle.Have only used for liquids at this time, but I’m certain I’ll find many dry food applications, so am anticipating another purchase soon.

Unique, heavy duty silicone seals
Very nice and heavy silicone seals for Mason or Ball wide mouth canning jars. I use these seals with non-corrosive plastic jar caps for brine fermenting. These seals rest conveniently in the mouth of the jar and assure a tight, leak-proof jar. I found that lubricating the top edge of the seal with a few drops of water, facilitates easy tightening of the plastic cap closure. There is no need to overtighten, in order to achieve an optimum seal.

For just right
Right size, seem sturdier than the one my lid came with. On the expensive side but they work.

Warning! Pictured item not what I received. UPDATE: Exactly right!!
UPDATE: Ordered again, now a year later, and these seals are exactly right — round gaskets that fit in the groove of my flip-top pitcher with handle. Glad the supplier got the right part in the system.Previous review: I love my flip-top pitcher with handle! I use it to make and mix orange juice from concentrate and it never leaks. I just wanted to replace the seal, a flat round gasket that fits into a groove in the flip top. I ordered what the picture shows: a simple round seal (pictured on the left). What I received was wrong, even when I returned and reordered. I received a gasket that has a raised lip as in the photo on the right clearly not for my flip-top pitcher lid with handle. Another reviewer had the same concern.

It’s a keeper!!!!
They work great and easy to use & clean. I’m going out on limb and saying that these are like sliced bread!!! You need have these if you are a big mason jar user, specially if you are an infuser with oils. No worry of oil leaking when you shake it to mix, even if its been in there for days. It doesn’t loosen from the pressure. When they tightened down, they are good to go!!!!

Doesnât stay put very well but not bad
These do not stick to the jars. Next time Iâll probably choose a brand that sits inside the cover. That may have the same issues. I will say it does successfully seal the jars.

Works if you’re careful, but could be better.
Dimensions are a little small for my wide mouth jars, so that gasket can slip and destroy the seal. If you’re extra careful in positioning, you can avoid failure. However, manufacturing could have been more generous and allowed a wider girth. Then the extra care would not be needed.

Used some for my mason jars that the seals were old and needed replacement.

The rings I received are not the same as whats pictured. They are flat with only a slight ridge instead of being indented like other silicone rings I see listed here on Amazon.
