Purchased this to cut off a few rusty boat locks that wouldnât unlock. Worked perfectly for the little job I had.

Vast improvement
Much better than the 12 volt unit I returned. This one has plenty of power for a 3 inch angle grinder. The spindle lock is not the best but does the job and the spindle screw to mount the disks is a bit wimpy but if you don’t over tighten it , it should be fine. Battery life is fine for a small grinder. I use it for sharpening lawn tractor mower blades , cutting off screws and bolts, ETC. I like it 🙂

Instructions Manuel
Read through the instructions Manual twice. Not one mention on how to assemble the discs or what buttons to push. There are two which need to be pushed together. Iâd think they would cater to those who have never run a grinder before. I donât know how to put on or change the disc or how to keep it running by using two buttons that are not on the sameSide. But one around the corner from the other. If you have arthritis forget it. This takes a lot of strength to hold that position holding down two buttons. So now I wait for a friend to come over to show me how to work this.

BEST ONE OUT THERE-BRUSHLESS 16.8VOLT
I just had to write this review so others wouldnt waste thier money on these 12volt things like i did for quite the while before i got the best ones out there.Well anyways i had bought several different brands of the 12 volt mini angle grinders and they were all alike…under powered and didnt run for very long.I also took some of the battery packs apart and found most were not the advertised capacity.Well anyways i saw this one advertised with a 16.8 volt battery and BRUSHED motor.Said 16.8 ? Got to be better than the 12volt ones.Sure enough it makes all the difference in the world.Way more powerful and way longer work times…what a differece.Dont even waste your time or money on the 12 volt ones.Anyways after awhile i noticed seller had now an even newer 16.8 volt upgraded model of the same with way more features so i decided to get that one…not that the other one was obsolete or not the best i evewr had.I loved the first model and to me it was the best compared to any 12volt ones.So now that i got this upgraded version to me there is none better even though the original is still great…LOL.They both come in a very sturdy blow molded case for storing and have 6 diff 3inch cutting,sanding and grindind discs.Pair of safety gloves and charger.The original one came with one battery and and new one comes with two 16.8 batteries.NICE !!!!.Now here is some of nice new feature for the upgraded one. First off the new one now comes with a BRUSHLESS motor intead of the BRUSHED.We all know that means less heat,more power,lasts longer and smoother and quieter.There is also a one click push button for spindle lock for changing blades easily.Push once it locks push again unlock.Cant get any easier than that.On back end of motor there is now a nice digital battery voltage readout.Lov it !!!.The power switch is also easier to use especially compared to all those 12 volt models out there.Be sure to check out the pics to see the nice improvements and features of this upgrade and to me the besat one for sale out there.

Who can’t use another tool? This is a cute little thingy
This is a neat little tool. I thought I could use it to cut a little opening in my garge door (closed my garage door with my garage door opening inside & thought I could cut a little opening to hit the “open” button on the wall inside the garage door, but I found a nifty solution that will do the trick without damaging the garage door. I think I will keep this anyway
