Smooth flavor
This coffee has a smooth, not bitter flavor. The light roast means the beans are not black and oily, which is how I like to enjoy my coffee. I prefer my coffee on the weaker side and this selection is ideal. I specifically sought out the Guatemalan beans, having tried them previously at Starbucks, and these are equally delicious.

Medium/Dark Roast, not Light Roast beans (tastes bitter like Medium Roast, too)
Updating after having ordered this multiple times.This last time, the beans are dark roast, burnt. It’s the last time for ordering it on our end. I couldn’t really stomach the beans. I’ve gotten it through Amazon and a Warehouse store. Both have the same issues, so this is on the brand.I want a good light roast. I’m going to try roasting beans myself for this reason. Life is too short for bad coffee.Pros: Good quality beans for the costGrinds well (we do an Espresso Grind for ours)Produces the good coffee smell on demandTastes good without adding as much sweetenerCons: Is bitter compared to other Light Roasts that I’ve had (and even compared to some higher end Medium Roasts)Overall:The beans look darker than I would expect for a light roast. The coffee tastes too bitter to drink black (which is not the usual issue with Light Roasted quality beans). The color of the roast is darker than expected for a Light Roast.It’s a good product for the amount spent, and we ordered a second bag to give it a second chance.The second bag is just as dark (Medium Roast) as the first bag. So, this is the last bag of this coffee we will order. If you like a good Medium Roast, then this is a good coffee choice.However, if you prefer a quality Light Roast, it is not.

Mmmmmmmmm
This coffee is delicious. I grind it medium and use a Mr Coffee drip machine. 1/3 dry cup of grounds for 6 cups on the coffee maker. Guatemala coffee is the best. Smooth without an aftertaste.

Not Light Roast
If you like light roast coffee do not buy this. It is dark and tastes like dark roast. I bought two bags and tried to return one unopened bag. When I tried to return the second unopened bag. I clicked through all the return reasons and options, I got to the contact us button and that took me back to the beginning of the return loop. So very frustrating Amazon! Your machines instead of helpful humans are making buying from Amazon very unpleasant.

Normally coffee beans once roasted can last two years. This item was delivered to me with expiry date on Jan 2025!

Good bang for your buck
Coffee smells great, tastes great. I was concerned it would be old, but itâs fresh and everything is fine. I use it for espresso, acidity is ok but makes great lattes. Light/medium roast. I donât like it too dark.

LIGHT roast = smooth flavor! Aroma even wakes Rosie T. Cat.
Small* uniform beans perfectly LIGHTLY roasted for rich smooth flavor , no bitterness and and maximum caffeine! Freshly ground makes excellent espresso in my stove top Moka.pot.I’m no expert but I’ve been brewing my own espresso for the last 30 plus years and sampling many beans in the process but so far this Copper Moon** beats them all.*I have no idea if these cute little beans are mature or young ones picked before they get knocked about by life’s challenges, but gazing upon them briefly is calming as in. all is right in the world calmness..*I have no interest in the Copper Moon Company nor have I been promised anything by he brewersAlso I have not been promised anything by Copper Moon for my positive review.
