Iâve been buying the Contigo West Loop for years, and it never disappoints. These mugs are rugged, keep my drinks warm for hours, and can handle a serious beating. I use them everywhereâwork, travel, outdoorsâand theyâve always held up. Best of all, the spill-proof lid actually works. Zero leaks, no mess, just great design.One tip: stick with the stainless steel. Anything else will chip over time, and I usually replace mine once a year because Iâm rough on them. WOW oh WOW
I can not believe this cup can hold hot for so long, now not the full 6 hours, but I will explain as I did testing.When I brewed the coffee and added it to the cup, after 15 minutes still steaming hot, that is good, we all know coffee gets cold right away.After 30 minutes, yep still pipping hot, I am impressed as most cups start to cool the coffee down but a bit.After 45 minutes, OMG still pipping hot, it does not feel like it cooled down at all.After 1 hour, still very, very hot but not pipping, but still very nice to drink.Then after the hour I will give testing faster so you are not bored.1 hour in, I can not believe it, the coffee is still hot, not really pipping hot but hot that you can not take a gulp full and swallow it.After the hour the coffee starts to cool down, but not fast, I believe it took about two and a half hours for my coffee to get to the point where I can take a large drink and swallow it without burning my throat, but it was still really nicely hot, if that makes sense.As most do, I forget the little bit that is left sometimes and have to dump it, but after 8 hours I took a sip and it was, well, not super warm but not cool either, it was warm enough to drink and it tasted great. If I had to describe it the warmth it would be the same as if you made a cup of coffee in a cup and got to the last amount at the bottom, not cold or cool but sot super warm, just okay.Now I owned a Bubba cup and it stated that it kept the coffee hot for 6 hours, but it did not, it got cooled after about an hour, not cold or warm but it was not pipping hot. I am not one to drink coffee fast, if you are like me and like to have it sit while doing your job or at home cleaning, this is for you. My coffee was pipping hot after an hour in this cup, and still hot to drink for another hour and then cooled a bit over time.I have to say I am very impressed with this as I did not think the hot would stay hot for as long as it did. The lid twists off and you have to push a button each time you take a drink, I did not know that at first, but I think that button action rather than the flip top is what makes it stay hot longer. You can even lock and unlock the button to open the valve, this would be great if your trying to carry a bunch of stuff and your coffee too, so you don’t accidently push the button open and it spills on you. I picked the lowest price set, so each cup came to just a bit over $18.00 Well worth the price I paid as I was VERY skeptical. I bought the 16 ounce as well, I don’t know if my review would stand for the larger size as I can not test that.

Been using contigo bottles for 8 yrs now. Keeps the water cold the whole day my child’s in school. It doesn’t leak and the new designs in recent years make cleaning the cover a breeze

Best travel cups ever
We are on pur third det of the Contigo hot/cold insulated mugs. They are used daily, all day long. Morning ciffee, afternoon iced tea and a lot of water. Hit stays hot up to 5 hours and cold stays cold even longer and we rarely use the great lids unless traveling. The do become harder to clean over time and ive never put them in the dishwasher. We just replace them but even that is like every 2-3 years. No better brand for your money anywhere! You will also love color choices.

We love Contingo for how well built they are; durable, easy to clean, good insulation, etc. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is, as you can see, the blue one advertised has a sparkle to it whereas the one that came had absolutely none.
