It’s a bit too bitter for a medium roast.
I bought this for family trips to my sister-in-law. She is not a coffee drinker and we have been making coffee from the same 1# can of a national brand for 2-3 years. I think this will work OK as a house gift. As I said though it is a bit bitter.

Great aroma and flavor…
I drink coffee morning, noon and night; I have finally brewed-up a couple of potsof this Colonial Coffee, and I am very impressed with the flavor and aroma. Thepackets are about double that of other leading brands, so you get your moniesworth. Enjoy!!

I don’t like strong coffee, like Starbucks. I like a coffee that is flavorful and mild. I found this coffee at my local bagel store. I asked him the brand because it was so good. He told me and I have been hooked! Good luck.

Beyond Dissapointed
I bought the Kona Blend. It was $10 more than the Columbian. I thought that I was getting something special. It wasn’t. It was terrible. I wanted the 2.5 ounce packages so there would be consistent brewing at a community center that my organization meets. Each group has their own coffee stash and basically for a commercial Bunn coffee maker one uses a 1/2 cup of ground coffee. The first pot I brewed was met with reactions of ” wow this is bitter” “more sugar” “Do we have any more Coffeemate”I drink black coffee so I think my palatte is pretty good. This was drinkable but terrible. Our group will go back to bulk buys at COSTCO. Thanks for nothing Colonial. This coffee was not cheap nor acceptable.

Good fresh coffee at a good price
This coffee is very good. For me, one package makes about 8 “cups” measured in my Mr. Coffee. I like the convenience of fresh coffee -no waste. The price is reasonable too.
