Great for travel!
I wanted to give this five stars. But, there was one issue that had me concerned. To take the handle off you need to push a small plastic piece on the bottom of the pot. My friend also bought one of these, and she couldn’t figure out how to get the handle off once she was done using it. She ended up breaking the little piece that held it. Since I was warned, I knew what to look for. But, I think that part could be made a little better. Otherwise, this works perfect for a cup of coffee when you are traveling.

Mold Buildup After a Few Uses
I bought this product not long ago and it is moldy inside, that is not a good quality metal. I’ve only used water and have followed instructions…lost money.

Boils small amount of water quickly
Listen, I was skeptical of a collapsible silicone kettle. When I tried a silicone muffin “tin,” it was so flimsy it wouldn’t even hold up under the weight of cupcake batter. So to risk silicone holding boiling water? Well, I decided to give it a try, because every time I travel back from Washington, I stay the night before my flight in a hotel, and I despise the hotel coffee pot coffee (and I *neeeeed* coffee in the morning!), so I ordered the DOFQQG Travel Kettle Electric.It collapses to a very small size, which is a bonus for me so I can tote it around in my carry on or even my purse. When fully extended, it’s still small. It holds a little less than 2.5 cups of water. It’s just about perfect for my stainless steel cup.It brings water to a full rolling boil fairly quickly. That hot water doesn’t make the silicone super floppy, as I’d feared, and the way the handle clips to the top and bottom of the kettle gave me additional assurance that it wouldn’t collapse while full of hot water.This is, as the title suggests, a portable kettle. It’s too small for me to use on a daily basis, but I travel often enough that it definitely makes my life easier, and it’s small enough to just be kept there in my travel bag. Five stars from me.

Great travel pot, heats fast

I got this for travel since I was taking a big hotpot with me which takes up lots of space and can easily break.The power cord is pretty large for such a small pot but I can live with that issue. The pot is a bit flimsy to allow it to fold so one must be careful when pushing the top onto the potThe pot boiled 2.5 cups of water at the same speed as a regular hot pot major brand. It has auto-off feature once the water is boiling. The plug is actually longer than both other hot pots we have which makes it easier to use especially when traveling.The removable handle is a bit complicated to figure out taking it off and putting it back on. It could use some more directions. The lid has an arrow that lines up with another arrow on the body. It has a second position to show when there is an area open for venting aligned perhaps for pouring with the lid on.

Great for travel
I have been traveling a lot lately so this is perfect to store away in my luggage. I love hot coffee so I have been using instant and it tastes better if the water is boiling hot. This collapses down flat. The handle can be a little fickle so I just leave it in the up right position. This cleans out very easily too. I dry it out after each use to not let calcium build up on it or get moldy.
