Very sturdy construction and easy to use. It’s a coffee beans nightmare! The best thing is that I don’t need electricity and for the settings of the grind, if you have more sense than a coffee bean you should have no problem with that ð

Well made, works great
I only have coffee once a week, so don’t have need for a big electric grinder. This works perfectly for my once weekly cup. I use about 23 grams of coffee for my 14ish ounce mug, which takes less than 30 seconds to grind. There is a helpful review here about how to set the grind size, since there are no instructions included. I previously had a more expensive hand grinder that broke with minimal use. This, however, feels very well built and will likely last many years.

Awesome Grinder
I was using an electric hopper type grinder and grew to dislike it. You never knew how much coffee it was going to grind. One time youâd get enough for one cup the next it would be three cups.So I received an email from Colette letting me know the new grinder was available. Thought Iâd try it and it is perfect. Easy to use and clean. You get a perfect grind every time. It is easy to use at home daily or when traveling. My only issue is setting the grind level. There is no stop at either end and it just keeps turning. You donât know if itâs set for Fine, Course or Medium. Itâs all trial and error. If you take it apart to wash, you have to start all over again. But the grind itself is great. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a travel grinder or a daily grinder.

How to set the coarseness level.
Going to put this first because it annoys me that Coletti is spare parts and has no instructions. TO ADJUST THE COARSENESS LEVEL:1. UNSCREW THE GRINDER FROM THE BOTTOM COFFEE CATCHER.2. PUT THE CRANK HANDLE ON.3. TURN THE GRINDER OVER SO THE CRANK HANDLE IS FACING AWAY FROM YOU AND LOOK IN THE BOTTOM OF THE GRINDER.4. LOCATE THE ADJUSTMENT KNOB, IT’S BLACK AND HAS A METAL RING AROUND IT WITH NUMBERS.5. WHILE HOLDING THE CRANK HANDLE STATIONARY, TURN THE ADJUSTMENT KNOB CLOCKWISE. YOU WILL FEEL AND HEAR A CLICK. KEEP TURNING IT CLOCKWISE UNTIL THE ADJUSTMENT KNOB STOPS TURNING. THIS IS ZERO (THE FINEST SETTING).6. WHILE HOLDING THE CRANK HANDLE, TURN THE ADJUSTMENT KNOB COUNTER CLOCKWISE ONE CLICK AT A TIME TO MAKE THE GRIND MORE COARSE. KEEP TRACK OF THE NUMBER OF CLICKS SO YOU CAN RESET IT AGAIN AFTER CLEANING.7. EIGHT CLICKS COUNTER CLOCKWISE WAS GOOD FOR MY PERCOLATOR. ITS TRIAL AND ERROR UNTIL YOU GET THE COARSENESS YOU DESIRE.This hand grinder is well made an built for camping. It’s worth the money. I would have given it 5 stars but it has no instruction manual. Online or otherwise. Not even a YouTube video. Come on Coletti, figure it out. There are tons of comments about this issue. Your customers are tired of doing your job.

Great grinder with really solid materials
This grinder is excellent! Extremely sturdy and great quality materials. Very easy to use and a great value. I use it every day with my Coletti percolator. I have a powered grinder, but it is noisy if everyone is sleepong and this grinder is tactically silent! Highly recommended!
