These units are easier to use than the rest Iâve had over time. Stays clean and only requires a quick wipe to clean after use. I found too that it works great for tea. Using a coffee grinder set on a coarse setting works perfectly with a couple of grinds sneaking through.

Best French Press coffee maker ever, stays hot for a long time, easy to use, looks and feels great.
I love this French Press! It is always worth it to invest in good quality products. This feels good, looks great, and makes outstanding coffee. I usually stick with drip coffee because I drink a large volume, but this is convincing me to switch over to French press. This thing keeps coffee hot for many hours, is easy to use, and is just a total joy. I’ve used the glass presses before and get annoyed at how often grounds wind up above the filter. This fits tighter and if you can deal with the slightly annoying sound of the metal scraping (I’ll do anything for a cup of really good coffee!), you’ll be super happy with this product. I had bought a percolator from these guys and found it to be wonderful (though I don’t like the grounds that come out without using a filter) and wanted to try this too. I don’t know which I’ll bring camping next time, but probably the press, maybe both. They take a lot of pride in their products and I’ll be on the lookout for what they do next. This one feels like something that will last for decades. It might not, but it is solid and works amazingly well.

Performance and Value!
Used a French press for the first time at my daughter’s house, an Espro. Bought the Coletti and have not looked back! It is built solid, holds 40 oz and priced 1/3 of the Espro. Could not be happier plus a lifetime warranty

Well made but too heavy and cumbersome for actual camping
Sadly I donât think I would ever take this camping as itâs massively heavy. I havenât used it yet but I canât imagine how heavy itâs going to be filled with liquid. I wanted a French press for camping but I think this is going to only stay at home. I might end up returning it and buying a more reasonably weighted pot. Iâm disappointed and feel like I wasted my money on something that doesnât make sense for its intended purpose (camping!!).

Ground free, hot coffee!
I upgraded to this from the starter bodum French press and was really wanting something to give me a ground free cup of coffee, that stayed hot in the press. This does it!

Thicc
Very thick, heavy brushed stainless steel. It feels like a tough and manly tool. It was going to replace my camping french press, but it’s too damn nice. Looks good at my coffee station on my counter with all my other stainless stuff.The silicone seal I imagine helps with brewing, but I have no way to prove this for sure. Is it an improvement to old designs? Yes, for sure. Just don’t immediately think the gasket completely seals everything in perfectly. Let’s put our junior engineer hats on for a second and think about it: the pour hole is ABOVE the seal.A couple things that aren’t stellar:-This is just my OCD, but the pour hole does not line up well with the arrow indicator. Just bugs me that I have to misalign the arrow to the spout in order to align the hole to the spout.-Also, the fact that it is a pour hole and not a big slot actually reduces the pouring effectiveness. Some coffee always goes up and around the hole and into the top of the lid when pouring so you have to upright it and keep trying to get all the liquid out. A bit annoying.Other than those nitpicks, it’s a keeper for me and should last close to a lifetime, I think.
