I have no complaints about this jar/pitcher. Has not had any leaking. Lid is very sturdy. Love how easy it is to use with loose leaf tea. Have not tried coffee yet. You can use it two ways with the filter. Either add tea in filter and then remove and clean, or put tea into jar directly and utilize the filter that way.

I was skeptical about using this. After doing several loose leaf teas and even doing cold brew coffee…. this is absolutely worth your money!None of the loose leaf ingredients escaped passed the mesh into the tea. As for the coffee grains, you’d worry that with such fine grains it would escaped into your coffee. I can confirm that it absolutely does not!If you’re doubting buying this for cold brew coffee, don’t. Super easy to clean out. This is the one you need.

Great for cold brew coffee
My first use of this was for cold brew coffee. Simple enough and it came out fine.I am a bit concerned that the plastic handle feels like it could bend or break when the pitcher is full. I guess time will tell on that. Also, the long filter is a bit hard to clean, and still smelled strongly of coffee after a lot of soap and water. I think I would need to get a different one if I don’t want my cold brew tea to have a coffee undertaste. I will wait and see how this one holds up.

Sturdy, easy to clean, easy to pour
I love this (not so little) mason jar! It’s sturdy, holds a very generous amount of liquid, and is easy to clean thanks to its wide mouth. So far, I’ve used it for tea — just toss a few bags of peppermint tea into the strainer, add water, place the mason jar in the fridge, and enjoy a delicious refreshment the next day!
