Decent jar kit
This is a pretty good kit for making cold brew coffee or loose-leaf iced tea. You can use the strainer insert two ways – put the grounds or tea into the strainer, or put the grounds or tea into the jar itself and insert the strainer empty. The latter method is my preference and keeps the grounds or tea in better contact with the water.My only reason for four stars is because I ordered two of these and they came with different cone filter gaskets. One gasket is thinner and more flexible, the other is thick and rigid. The rigid one is harder to get seated onto the cone and is almost too thick to make a leakproof seal with the jar lid. I much prefer the thinner more flexible gasket version. Both do seal and work the same but the one is a bit harder to deal with, hence knocking off a star.
