My new favorite item!
I tried out this cold brew coffee maker last night, and Iâm already in love! It was super easy to useâcame with clear instructions that walked me through the process step by step. After a quick wash, I filled it up with coffee grounds and water, and by the next morning, I had a smooth, delicious cold brew that tasted almost as good as my favorite coffee shopâs.Honestly, I think the syrup I used was the only thing keeping it from being identical to a professional brew. My only tiny complaint is that I wish it was made of glass instead of plastic, but for the price, I really canât complain. This is a total game-changer for cold brew fans!

Easy to use and works great!
I’m a diabetic, and I was told (not by a healthcare professional, but other diabetics) that cold brew coffee with sugar free syrup was a great alternative to the other super sweet coffees I had to give up. I tried my first cold brew at a well-known franchise, and I really liked it! What I didn’t like was the price tag. So, I decided to try to make my own. My first cold brew maker works more like a press. You just immerse the grounds and water together and the lid has a plunger that then pushes the grounds to the bottom of the carafe. I liked this set up, but sometimes the grounds would get through and the top to my unit would leak, so, when I saw this, I knew I needed it. The very first thing I did when I got this was run it through my dishwasher. The plastic feels flimsy and I wasn’t too sure it would make it out okay, but it did just fine; the plastic didn’t distort or anything. Because I like my coffee a bit stronger, I put 5-6 table spoons of grounds in the filter and used filtered water and fill it to the tip top. I shake it around quite a bit since the grounds like to go to the top, then pop it in my fridge to sit for a day. When it’s done, I rinse the filter and use the provided brush to really clean the inside then pop it into the washer. So far, I have no complaints at all. This thing looks nice, is easy to use, easy to clean, and holds quite a bit of coffee. It obviously depends on the person, but for me, I will get 3 cups of coffee from one full pitcher. If you like cold brew, this is a great carafe! If you haven’t tried cold brew, I would recommend maybe trying it first before investing. The good thing about this to me is the amount of money I save by doing it myself. You can buy all different kinds of grounds–from name brand to no name–and play around with the strength to see what you like. Personally, I prefer dark blends–typically Columbian. I use sugar free syrup (caramel and vanilla) and heavy whipping cream. For me, this satisfies my coffee cravings and does not spike my blood sugar. win win! :

Not Glass, Not Espresso Nice Big Size
This listing classifies itself as “Espresso Machine, which it obviously is not, it’s a cold brewer. The listing isn’t clear that it’s plastic. it calls it BPA free Tritan, which should be a tip off, and I should have read the description more carefully. Time will tell whether this will impart any off taste. On the other hand, at least I won’t fear breakage. I tested it for watertightness, and it does hold water without leaking when the spout cover is appropriately lined up.In my experience (with an old grind and brew coffeemaker), a mesh filter will tear from the plastic frame over time. I generally prefer metal, however, this screen is finer than my metal screen cold brewer, so it may be a good choice to make a clearer brew with a little finer grind.Having the bottom of the filter unscrew for cleaning is a wonderful idea, again I have a French press with that feature, and I love that idea. It’s also nice that a cleaning brush is included. The top section of the filter tube is difficult to get off because it’s a snug fit and I was fearful of forcing it at first. I suspect having gotten used to that now, it’s not really a problem and the plastic may wear in a little with use and not be quite as tight. It only rotates in one direction, so look carefully at it to see which way (counterclockwise to open). It certainly functions to make cold brew, as I would expect.

Great for tea and flavored water
Very pleased with this pitcher. I was hoping it was going to be glass. It is plastic, but a very nice and heavy duty plastic. I will have to take better care of it than I would have glassâ¦no dishwasher and good cleaning after each use. But I love the mesh basket that goes inside holding things to flavor water but then I can take it out so itâs not âtoo muchâ like leaving tea bags in too long or lemon and lime with rind which, after too long, make the water or whatever taste bitter. Fits great in the fridge just like a half gallon milk container. Easy to open and mouth is big enough to get my hand in for cleaning. The way to open for pouring it a little weird. Seems that could be easier. But for the price it works fine.

Makes a nice cup of cold coffee
I wish when I was younger someone had told me how easy cold brewing coffee is. This pitcher keeps the process easy, and is an aesthetically pleasing, and well constructed addition to the kitchen.Make cold brew coffee, you’ll be glad you did.

It’s Fine
This isn’t a bad cold brew coffee maker, but it’s also not really amazing. It takes hours to be able to make it, which could be fine if you start it right before bed to have it ready for the morning. But if you’re in the mood for cold brew coffee right then you’ll be out of luck. If you’re willing to wait the hours and hours to brew it, then you’ll probably be perfectly happy with it. Another drawback is the material since it is made of plastic so it’s somewhat cheap feeling. I thought it was glass from the look of it in the photos. So, depending on your preference, it may be a great product to purchase or it might be easier just making coffee and chilling it.
