It works nicely for me!
I got the bigger size, the handle seems sturdy enough, but I’d still hold the jar as well when lifting it when it’s full.First mistake I made was not having a good grip on it when I took it out of the package, it thudded and rolled hard on my countertop. But, it survived nicely!I did notice the rubber seal on the mesh filter seems a bit loose, but since there’s also a seal on the jar, it seemed to work.The filter is awesome and well worth this purchase. I filled the filter up about halfway with coffee grounds and that seems to work for me. I filled the jar as high up as it would go with water.Once in the fridge, I would occasionally test for leaks, grab it, turn it sideways, upside down. No leaks at all. I held the pouring lid on top down while holding it upside down though since it’s just a snap on.The lid is hard to unscrew if you tighten it too much, so I try to barely tighten it.My second mistake was I did not remove the filter first before pouring some into a coffee cup. I blame not yet having coffee for that mistake, so grounds did pour into my coffee mug on the first attempt. Once I removed the lid and filter, no coffee grounds whatsoever appeared in my coffee mug. So far, I’m happy with this purchase. I’d say the only thing that would make this absolutely perfect is having a handle on the mason jar so there is leverage to twist the lid off if it’s on too tight.

Great ice tea container.
I love the Mason jar type jar. The lid is simply designed making it easy to clean. It is of a size that it’s not too heavy to use with one hand. I really like it. The Con: I wish there were more than one seal, I can see the unit out living the seal, then what? I see no way to buy more.

Works like a charm.
Tastes so much better than hot brewing, and then cooling. You just stuck the coffee in the mesh cylinder, and pour water into it, until the jar is full. My first few times, I tried sticking a full mesh filter in, and that made it a bit hard. Once I realized I could just put the water in after, I sure felt a lot smarter!

Iced coffee

The perfect iced coffee
I donât know why I waited so long to buy this – I havenât bought a store iced coffee since I got it. Itâs super easy to use and the coffee is perfection. My only complaint is it didnât come with any directions on the amount of coffee. I just read other reviews and figured it out based on my preference. Basically you just insert the filter in the jar and add your coffee grounds – I did mine about half way – then add water to the line. Secure the lid and put in fridge over night. In the morning remove the filter slowly and add a little more water to the jar if you want to fill it up more (got this tip from another review) and enjoy. I put a few ice cubes in my glass, then pour the coffee (the lid has a nice wide spout that doesnât spill) and add a little creamer. One jar usually lasts me 4-5 days. I leave the filter out for a bit to let the grounds dry then throw them in the trash and clean the filter which is super easy to clean.

Very well made
This honestly is really well made for the price. But I do want to point out the handle is hollow. You can’t tell in the pictures but it is. It sill works well and feels good in the hand.

Great quality!
The glass felt heavy and the plastic parts were thick and sturdy. I canât speak to its function because I didnât use it, but I bought it as a gift and they loved it! Amazing value for what you pay, and the construction makes for easy cleaning. Would absolutely recommend as a gift for a coffee lover!
