Morning coffee
I love this coffee brewer! I brew mine for about 36 hours in the fridge for a stronger mixture, in the morning I pour a shot (or two) in my coffee cup add water and microwave for a minute. Great taste without any bitterness from hot brewing. I take some with me to work no more break room coffee for me anymore.

Excellent system for cold brew
I used this product all summer for my morning cold brew which is very refreshing after my morning workout. Being able to start another batch when your previous batch is finishing up is very convenient. I love/hate the glass containers though. They are of excellent quality and it’s much better than using plastic, but I do worry all the time about dropping them, which thankfully hasn’t happened, but that’d be a disaster in the morning before I’ve had a chance to fully wake up with my coffee. It does require quite a bit of coffee grounds, but the concentrated coffee produced provides plenty of cups to enjoy.

Good for cold brew
I like the two bottle system it makes it easy to have cold brew on hand and freshly made. It’s a nice quality and a good capacity. Not too big or not too small and fits well in the fridge without taking too much space. A good seal on it too so it doesn’t spill. Only thing is the glass is a bit slipper and thin so I have to be very careful not to break it. Works great to filter and make cold brew and easy to clean.

Nice Step Up For My Cold Brew
I’ve been making cold brew coffee concentrate since 2014 with the Filtron system… lately I have been having issues finding big enough filter papers. During Covid, the company did not sell them or the filter pads, but I found alternatives. Now after 10 years the plastic brew system is bulky and stained and needing replacement with a simpler system… Most of the current cold brew systems are not made for making concentrated coffee… Then I found Shelbru.. .and SO GLAD I DID… it makes a lovely concentrate which I can use in the same proportions as in the past (old brain doesn’t have to remember new ratios) and the coffee is perfect!! The only down side is that the jars are the same size, top to bottom, and I am afraid I might drop it if the glass is wet with water or condensation after I take it from the fridge. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you use to resolve this… I was thinking some kind of wide rubber or silicone wrapper or band…. but not sure where to find one… they are not sold at the company’s site.

My new favorite way to make coffee.
This is a great system to get started in cold brew. The two jars lets you keep a steady supply of this liquid crack going without having to miss a day which would probably be fatal.The jars are exactly the same, but the difference is in the lids. One lid has the brewing mesh cylinder and the other has a silicone pour spout each has an identical lid.The mesh is very fine and keeps grounds mostly from entering your coffee. To fill it, it uses more coffee than we’re used to and that’s saying something since before we only used a French press. Once full you pour water through the coffee which is a slow process as if you pour too quickly it’ll just spill over the top.Once full though you just lid it and stick it in the fridge for 24 hours and then you get a delicious high-octane concentrate.It’s so smooth and has none of the bitterness that hot-brewed coffee gets. You can also tailor your strength by changing how much water you dilute your drink with. I haven’t ever gone full strength. I’m satisfied not vibrating so quickly that I pass through solid surfaces.

decent cold brew set… with some fitment issues
I like the overall set and I use it often. One container to hold my iced coffee in, the other to filter out the stuff from my morning’s french press coffee so that it can be added to the iced coffee in the fridge, for later. As a set, this keeps me from wasting the coffee I brew in the morning, and it works great for that purpose. My problem is with the fitment of the filter basket, which kind of just… flops around on top, with nothing holding it in, or together with the lid. I wish they had made some sort of clip, or threaded it to screw in, or something, but it just kind of flops around insecurely, and it bothers me every time I use this. If you can look past that, it works great, and having two containers gives you a bit of freedom and flexibility, as well as enough storage to make sure you’re never without iced coffee when you need it.

I love everything about this system:- NO Plastics! Yay!- Double layer filter that traps the fine debris. Check out the video of the filter doing it’s magic.- Two glass containers so that I can brew for the full 24-hours- Easy to clean- Compact yet not too small.- Fits easily in the fridge.The best part is that there is no fighting about how strong the coffee is – everyone can use as much or as little of the concentrate as they want.I highly recommend!
