Great makes cold brew easy to clean up
I love these theyâre easy to use to make cold brew perfect each time . I tie off the ends gently. Are used to make cold brew without bags and it was such a mess to clean the wet grounds out of my cold brew container now I simply lift it up after itâs completely dripped and throw the whole thing in the garbage unless a person wants to recycle the grounds. Iâve NEVER had any grounds leak out of the bag at all and itâs never torn thatâs why I give it five stars.

The trick for easy, delicious cold brew
I had been using nut milk bags to make my cold brew, but it was kind of a pain to clean after every use. These are affordable, versatile, and do a decent job of containing the “sludge” you often get when making cold brew.I tie off the top and just let it sit in a gallon jar of water for 36-48 hours, then sprinkle the grounds in my garden to prevent snails.It’s been a couple months since I bought these, and I still have a bunch left. The one bag should last me a year, at least.

Just About Perfect
I bought a gallon-size jar here on Amazon that included a mesh filter for making cold-brew coffee but after a couple of years the filter began to come apart and coffee grounds spill would into the jar. Since the company doesn’t sell a replacement filter, I looked into other options and landed on these single-use filter bags.I like these bags. While the size I got ‘can’ hold 8 cups of coffee grounds, my ‘recipe’ for cold-brew is 4 cups of coffee grounds + enough water to fill the gallon jug, so I only put 4 cups in the bag. The top of the bag has a nice wide opening which made it easy to dump coffee grounds into the bag. As the bag got heavier, I used a rubber band along the jar’s mouth to hold the bag in place so I could fill it. After tying the string, a small hole remained at the opening – not huge, but large enough for grounds to escape. So I didn’t fill the jar past that point and made sure to screw on the lid with the strings hanging outside of the jar so that the bag wouldn’t shift/spill.It worked. 21 hours later I had nice cold-brew coffee with ZERO coffee grounds in it and more importantly: ZERO sludge in it! The strings stayed tied and didn’t ‘suck out’ too much of the liquid.These would be perfect if they could be 100% tied shut.The description lists these bags as ‘commercially compostable’ and I considered tossing the whole bag into my countertop composter since I already compost my coffee grounds but I wasn’t sure if the machine could handle it. A couple of tea bags are one thing, but a thick bag like this is quite another.Also: once the cold-brew was done, I had to move the bag to the side and pour the coffee into a large bowl because the bag was too stuff to pull straight out of the jar. Perfect size
If you want to make a gallon of cold brew coffee then this bag is perfect. Holds three cups of coffee beans perfectly with enough space for circulation of the water. Highly recommended.

Works like itâs suppose to, no complaints
Works perfectly for my cold brew coffee. I just like to tie the tops and I donât get a lot of grinds. Good price good product

Solid product
Quantity is great. I use for making my own cold brew coffee. No issues as of yet. Havenât had any coarse ground coffee slip through at all and itâs been 2 months.
