Makes great cold brew!
This filter makes the best flavored cold brew. I like my coffee strong and had tried other cold brew filters which ended up with weak cold brew and lots of grounds in every cup. This one makes very strong cold brew with very few grounds in the last cup if any at all. It fits perfect in my one gallon and half gallon mason jars. I had no trouble screwing on regular lids, plastic lids or pour lids over the filters which meant no accidental spills while letting it brew. The brew is strong and smooth with no bitterness. It has saved me a ton of money while still tasting as great (if not better) than brew from a coffee shop.

Purchased for tea steeping
I was looking for a steeper that would be large enough to steep my tea leaves right in the kettle and after ordering 2 meant for tea and returning, I found this one and itâs perfect! Leaves no metal taste, easy to rinse off after using. The design is tall enough to sit low in the kettle and also to leave room to hold from top.

Great product, incomplete order
I love this! They fit great with my jars, and work well.The only problem is that the second box was missing the lid/handle.The second package was a gift for my daughter, and hers was missing it.Could I get the lid sent to me please?

Perfect.
I ordered the filter and lid only, it fits perfect on standard 32oz wide mouth glass jars. With a few attempts I was able to narrow down the perfect grind. I haven’t weighed it yet but the filter holds around 3oz (85g) of coarse ground beans. Sitting for 14 hours on the counter produced a rather strong brew that I had to water down by nearly half. Having a high quality grinder is essential. Good stuff, I’m probably going to buy a few as gifts.

Great for Cold Brew
I make my own cold brew. These are amazing for brewing in a half gallon mason jar. The filter keeps the grounds contained and is easy to remove and empty before pouring your coffee out of the top. The top is fantastic! It has a nice seal and the flip top great for pouring. And YES, you CAN trust the handle. I’ve been using mine since March without issue. I recommend that when removing the filter that you hold it over the jar of cold brew and use a butter knife to gently move the grounds around and gently press the ground to the sides of the filter. This will help release any coffee remaining within the grounds that hasn’t drained out. I’ve found cold brew to have a far superior taste over counter coffee pot brewing. This is an easy set up and a great value for someone that is looking to make an amazing cold brew coffee. This filter and lid will keep performing over and over with care and gentleness upon pressing and moving the grounds around. It’s worth the money to buy.

Great, but one caveat…
I would suggest you measure your Mason jar before buying this. I have 2 different brands of 64 oz jars (Pur and Ball). The Ball jar is skinnier and taller than the Pur jar. The infuser fits the Ball jar perfectly with room to spare between the bottom of the jar and the bottom of the infuser. It’s too tall for the Pur jar, extending about 1/4 inch above the rim, making it impossible to put either a canning lid or a pouring lid on it.However, in the right size jar, it works perfectly! I’ve yet to make coffee in it, but for tea it has been wonderful. Fine mesh lets no tea leaves through, and I doubt that I’ll have any problem with coffee grounds, either.Cleaning has been relatively easy, for any stubborn tea leaves I find a stiff bottle brush helps.

Fine mesh metal so no leaves pass through. Works just fine with cold brew mason jar loose tea!! Love it
