A FEW TIPS FOR MAKING COLD BREW COFFEE
1.Grind your coffee beans to a medium coarse consistency.
2.Fill the cold brew filter with ground coffee beans, add it to a mason jar or other glass storage container with water. Then, leave it on your counter to steep for 12-15 hours.
3.Take out the cold brew filter and leave the concentrate.
4.Store the cold brew concentrate in the refrigerator. This will keep it fresh for a week or so.
5.To serve, pour the cold brew concentrate over ice, with water or with your favorite milk or creamer.
Note:Coffee grounds are not included.
Customers say
Customers find these coffee filters great for making cold brew. They are durable and don’t tear easily. The filters are easy to use, convenient, and make preparation for the week super easy. The filters don’t leave any sludge or residual particles, which makes cleanup easier than cleaning up coffee grounds later from a French press. Overall, customers are satisfied with the filter’s performance and convenience.

Changed my life
OK, this didn’t change my actual life but it sure has make cold brewing a whole lot easier. The bags work well, they are sturdy and don’t break.I brew my coffee in a 1/2 gallon Mason Jar. First I lower the bag into the jar wide open and, keeping the bag wide open, fold top 1/2 inch over the mouth of the jar. Then I fill the bag with 3/4 cups of fine ground coffee. I add water to almost the top in stages, stirring the grounds into the water at each stage. When filled, I use the string to close the bag, and then I screw on the lid keeping the top of the bag secured by the lid. I leave it to brew 12-24 hours and when done, I can just toss the bag and grounds, no muss no fuss.

These bags were perfect size, easy to fill, easy to tie up once filled with my favorite coffee grind…then also empty into compost… definitely a keeper!

Makes making cold brew a breeze
Easiest way I’ve found to make cold brew. Just fill one of these, but it in a mason jar with 6 cups of water, and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. After that, throw away the bag. No dumping loose coffee grounds or trying to clean a mesh filter.

perfect
Nothing to say here other than it does the job well. Cheap disposable bags for cold brew can fit enough coffee ground to make a 2L jug of cold brew and no grounds leak through. Perfect.

Large Bags with Long Tie Strings
I purchased these bags for coffee I grind to brew in my XL French Press. The good: strong, long ties to tie, wrap around the bag end, and tie in a knot to prevent grounds from leaking out. It does the job. However, the bags are very thick and you’ll need to tamp to allow water to penetrate to the coffee. Not So Good: the bags aren’t made from paper, rather are a plastic material. I would not use these every day because the very hot water needed to steep could cause chemicals to leech from the plastic.

No Mess Cold Brew
These are a GAME CHANGER. I have always loved cold brew but would always struggle with scraping the coffee out of my brew makers and getting coffee in my sink. These have allowed me to make cold brew all week, and I can just throw the pouch in the trash when I’m done! I have noticed they work better after running a bit of water through the pouch (with the coffee in it) before putting the pouch in the water to make cold brew. Great product!

These are easy to tie and dispose of. To get a cup of grounds in requires compressing them with a spoon (non-compressed I think it holds about 3/4 cup of grounds), and I did hear one filter bag start to rip open when I packed it too hard, but it didn’t actually split and having learned that lesson, I have no issues using them. I’d definitely recommend these.
