I imagine it was scratched from shipping and not the manufacturer. But very nice rose gold colour, strong clip and good size for coffee bags.

A bit flimsy, but it is pretty convenient for single-serv French press.
This is sold as two things — a coffee bag clip and a measuring scoop. It’s pretty good at one of these things.The spring that holds its jaws shut is very weak, and really probably can’t be relied upon to hold an airtight seal. It is flimsy, and seems to be around the force level of a hair-clip. It is able to hold itself to an object, but doesn’t have a whole lot of force left to squeeze anything. You’re going to need to keep sealing your coffee bags the old way, I’m afraid. You can still clip this to the bag to keep it convenient; it’s just not going to help holding the bag closed much.Despite all that, I’m still using it as a convenient coffee scoopEach scoop is about 17cc, or 1T + 1/2 Tsp. A traditional coffee scoop is about 30cc or 2T. Practically, each scoop is about 5-6g of whole bean coffee. So this means that it might be a little too small for filling up the office Mr Coffee, but three scoops is almost the perfect amount to fill up a single-serving French press.

Perfect tool for bagged coffee!
This is the perfect tool for reaching down into your bag of coffee…especially as it nears empty. Although not necessarily needed to seal the bag, it’s nice to be able to attach it and it’s always right there when you need it. It appears to be made of good quality materials, is attractive, and functions well.

Perfect size scoop.
These are nice looking and the perfect size scoop for k cups. Will probably by a couple more for my too many bags of coffee that are not designed to reclose after being open, the clips are very handy.
