First use was ok . This morning ended up with coffee all over my shirt and lap. The base of the mug came apart about a quarter inch from the bottom there is a seam. It leaked around the whole seam and now useless. Not happy!

Keeps it warm
Works well on warmers. Keeps tea hotter then most cups that have been used. Already have ordered another one.

Not microwave safe… but cute mug
It is a nice looking mug. Just don’t plan on using it in the microwave. I should have noticed the gold trim and realized you can’t put it in the microwave. I took another look at the listing to see if they included that obvious warning. They did not–hence the 3 stars.Also, it is advertised as a flat bottom mug but it is not completely flat. It has ridges all along the bottom probably for extra structural support. I don’t know how much the ridges will effect heat transfer because I did not try it out on my mug warmer. Maybe the ridges will help distribute heat?
