Easy to clean
I have tried several coffee mats and this one is, by far, the easiest to clean. Being black silicone, it doesn’t have coffee stains like all my fabric ones do so that is a bonus. Four stars were given as, when it arrived, it had a liquid substance with an odor. It cleaned off easily and was good to go after that.

Fantastic protection for our coffee bar
I am very much not a morning person and I don’t want to admit how many times I’ve started a cup of coffee without placing a cup underneath.We are using a tv stand as our coffee bar so it’s not waterproof, needed something to not ruin it and this worked perfectly!We like the spot to rest a spoon, and it fits a larger pod/carafe combo perfectly.Very happy with it and happy to not ruin the coffee bar top with my geniusness

Solid, but homely and hard to clean
Let’s start with the positive: although it’s thin, this thing is made of a durable silicone material and built to last. It might outlive cockroaches. Maybe even the US Senate.Now the negative: exactly the same thing. This thing’s kinda uggy. It also has all these…interesting contours, which I guess catches coffee spills and such, but also means that when you go to wash this, you’re forced to laboriously clean out every little groove. Large scale spills are rare, so there’s not that much benefit to all the texture, but dust and grime are a fact of life, so you’ll still have to wrestle with cleaning it.This is mostly suited for people who are clumsy and slosh their coffee pot around a lot. If your dad visits and spills stuff in your kitchen when he visits to get even for when you were a kid and didn’t clean your room enough, you’ll probably dig this.It’ll protect your countertop and stop your stuff from sliding around, but you won’t love looking at it, and you’ll be really annoyed when it comes time to wash it. You might really like it, but I’d be happier with a much simpler texture.

Great drip catcher
I love this coffee mat! It catches drips from the coffee pot, and coffee grounds that might spill out when I am making coffee. I like that it has a space to set creamer or a sugar jar. It is also very easy to clean.The silicone makes it instantly grip the counter and it also matches my other silicone items very well. It’s very easy to clean and saves me a load of cleanup at the end of the week.It’s going to be important to measure your coffee maker and any sugar/creamer jars you may have as the indents are pretty pronounced, but you could of course put a smaller item in place.
