LlegÃ³ un dÃa antes de lo seÃ±alado (Dic. 23) pero lo utilicÃ© por primera vez el 01 de enero de este aÃ±o, 2 moliendas diarias y a14 dÃas de uso, de momento lo recomiendo, hace poco ruido, es muy rÃ¡pido, muele parejo ,lo que me falta por utilizar es la molienda para espresso, pero en los demÃ¡s me ha dado grandes resultados.No lleno la tolva completa, solo he puesto la cantidad que necesito (como si fuera monodosis), muele perfectamente y he verificado que casi no hay pÃ©rdida por retenciÃ³n, en general puedo decir que es un excelente molino y tiene una gran relaciÃ³n calidad/precio.Los materiales se ven y sienten de calidad y parece que serÃ¡ bastante duradero, actualizarÃ© posteriormente para decir como se comporta con el tiempo.

Best coffee grinder I’ve used
We were in search of replacing our smeg coffee grinder when we replaced our broken smeg coffee machine with the Fellow Aiden coffee maker. We went with the Fellow Ode initially due to its draw of being a “premium” grinder. But we returned it after a week of usage since it wasn’t meeting our expectations especially given the price of the grinder. I then found this grinder on Amazon and decided to try it out given all the positive reviews it got. I was hesitant at first since it was an unfamiliar brand and it seemed like a new product with little proven history. After using the grinder for over a month I can say that it’s been way more enjoyable than all the previous grinders I’ve used (including the costly Ode). Here are the main pros with the grinder:- the synced digital scale works great (it’ll go slightly over the set amount by .5 gram or so but no big deal for me) and this makes it super quick and effortless to grind the exact amount of beans I need each morning. I don’t think I’ve seen any other grinders with this feature- the anti static feature actually works! – it really is a mess free experience. For example the ode advertises this feature but it didn’t work nearly as well as this- the grinder is relatively quiet and sounds like it has plenty of power- the bean hopper is adequately sized (I grind 60oz of beans each morning without having to pour slowly or carefully)- the black version looks good (not as good as the ode, but no other grinders do imo) and matches my black Fellow Aiden coffee machine.- the price is great especially given how well it worksThe 1 improvement I would make is improving the initial pairing/sync of the grinder and the scale each time I turn it on, the scale will sometimes turn off after sync/tare and I would have to turn it on again. I also wish it would auto tare each time it’s powered on so I don’t have to manually push the button each time. These are not huge issues and don’t slow down my routine that much especially given how much time the scale Integration saves me. But improving this in the future would make this a “perfect” grinder.

instructions for turning off loud beeping
I wrote to Mokkom asking for help, if there was a way to turn off the loud beep, they quickly wrote back, and I received the kindest reply with instructions, they said they were also updating the product page with instructions on how to turn the beep on/off:In standby mode, press the button “Tare” for 3 seconds and the screen will display “OFF”.I am very impressed with the machine, it’s my 4th full-featured burr grinder, and it is my hands down favorite, it makes the best tasting coffee.The grounds enter the storage cup w/o any spilling over, there are no open gaps between the cup and where the grounds are dispensed from the grinder, so there is truly no mess.It is easy to set up, the scale is an added bonus–its beautiful, works seamlessly out of the box, and its connected by bluetooth to the grinder so they are fully integrated. The scale offers a nice platform for the cup where the grounds are collected under the machine. The Mokkom is solid and it looks expensive. It’s a great design!But the most important feature is the actual grinding mechanism and quality of the grounds. I set the machine for pour over, #23, the knob turns to select the precise grind from French press to espresso–if you want a coarser or finer grind, there are several options for each style of coffee. I appreciate seeing the full range of options lit up across the screen. The grinding speed is slow, 350 RPMs, the slower speed means greater uniformity of the grounds and less heat generated during grinding, this results in higher quality grounds and better tasting coffee.I also have a Fellows Ode grinder, itâs considered one of the best grinderâs on the market, it grinds at 1,400 RPMâs, I credit the Mokkomâs slower grinding speed with the superior quality of the coffee it makes compared to the Fellows Ode (The Ode also makes a mess, grounds spill out everywhere, making it hard to clean–this is typical of most grinders).The coffee I’m making with the Mokkom is the best I’ve ever had. The pour over has crema (foam that you get with espresso) w/o any bitterness. I think itâs the perfect cup of coffee, I canât imagine anything tasting better. I brewed it using a Fellow Stagg XF pour-over dripper with Melitta brown #2 filters, Ground Work “Round Midnight” dark roast beans (though Philz Tesora medium roast is a very close 2nd & my usual go-to coffee bean).Mokkom has exceptional customer service, they really care about each users experience, and they want you to reach out if you have any questions or problems, they responded immediately to my message. They even mentioned another reviewer who had complained about the loud beep, and that they wanted to reach out to help, but Amazon offers no way to respond to reviews. Mokkom hoped that if I posted how to turn off the beep, that customer might see the review and learn how to silence the beep.I am not buying any more grinders, this is my forever grinder and I couldnât be happier with it.
