Customers say
Customers appreciate the manual food mill grinder for its functionality, build quality, and value for money. They find it does its job well, grinds consistently without many fines, and is made to last a lifetime. The steel burrs grind smoothly and are a step up from many electric grinders.

Easy to grip, solid
The chamber is divided into 3 sub chambers to keep the beans from getting packed & stuck (all good hand grinders have a tri or quad grate at the top to help distribute and break up clumps, but this extends to the whole chambers). It grinds pretty slow, and despite playing with different number settings (the dials go from 0 to 55 in increments of 5 all around), it doesn’t seem to affect the grind size period. I want larger pieces for my French press, but it’s so nice and fine. Not sure if it’s espresso fine or not.The steel burrs grind really smoothly for the price point.

Great addition to my brewing kit
Very resistant materials and super easy to use and clean. The handle makes a bit of noise but works very well. It is compact and feels good when using it. Love the silver finish and grip

It does the job well
Great value! It grinds consistently without many fines. This will be a step up from many electric grinders. It’s close to my baratza encore in quality so it is great for travel or even home if you don’t have a good grinder.

Mostly well made, slight machining issues, needs more documentation
I only have two issues with this. It had a slight spur of metal on one of the three inner supports where it was presumably drilled out with a CNC machine. Something like this could possibly cut your finger or break off into the grinder, maybe even get through a coffee filter in a worst case scenario. The second issue: Of the three grinders I have now, this one has more directions than most, but it is still just a small page with a few dozen lines of text and no photographs to clarify what parts are what to open it up. I’m too afraid Ill strip or break a part trying to open it up, and I can’t seem to find this or a similar grinder on youtube to use as a basis to figure this one out.Other than that, this does feel a good bit more premium than my other two grinders. You can adjust this one without having the handle installed. I always worry about sanitation with people sticking their hands partly inside the grinder to adjust the size, so this makes that less of a concern too. According to the instructions, you actually have to go all the way around and past the 60 mark in order to get some of your sizes. That may be a little confusing, but if you get “lost” you just turn it until it locks up on 0, and then go however many clicks or revolutions back to your preferred settings. It seems well marked to me, although I’m not sure if the marks are printed or engraved, and for the price I’ll be annoyed if they are inked on and fade over time.So far I can get anything from coarse to a satisfactory espresso fine. Grinding seems to take longer (not as long as my cheapest which takes FOREVER for espresso, but slower than another I own), although it feels smoother and takes much less force to grind. Just expect to spend more time rotating the handle than some grinders. I do not like the texture of the wooden handle very much, it is grippy, but I like the wood handle on one of my other grinders better. If your just looking for a basic grinder, you can get some very capable ones in the 40-50 dollar range that may be easier to open up too. If your willing to spend more money, and don’t mind a little extra time grinding and maybe a more complicated way to open it up for cleaning, this does feel reasonably better for the extra cost.

Fantastic for my needs
I’m not a coffee snob, but I love this grinder. I used to use an electric one, but when I’m up early it would wake the whole house, so I went to this for single cups. It works flawlessly, feels built VERY well (all metal) and is now one of my favorite kitchen utensils. Grind size is good for me, goes from acceptably course to very fine (it does seem to be more able to go very fine than very course). Can’t say enough good things. Had it about 6 months and zero signs of wearing out. Highly recommend.

Blown away on how good this grinder is for the money!!! Couldnât be more happy for this deal.
I am a coffee freak ! Worked at a cafe when I was in college loved it! My sons going away to school and asked me for a grinder that would work well with Expresso and pour overs, dang I am blown away. I have high end hand grinders that I spent $100 to 250 on and this one just blew me away. I spent $20 on it and itâs all aluminum with 50 grind settings just made a great expresso for the kid and than ground up some fresh beans for our v60 I just bought him and had a crazy good pour over. If youâre a bigger and donât want to break the bank. This might be a great choice for you. I am 100% fine with my son taking it to school.

nothing but fine grind
The so-called grind adjustment gives me nothing but fine ground. I had to look up the name of the product by going back to the amazon order. No name on the box, it says there isa warranty but no address or phone number. I want to return this
