instructions for turning off loud beeping
I wrote to Mokkom asking for help, if there was a way to turn off the loud beep, they quickly wrote back, and I received the kindest reply with instructions, they said they were also updating the product page with instructions on how to turn the beep on/off:In standby mode, press the button “Tare” for 3 seconds and the screen will display “OFF”.I am very impressed with the machine, it’s my 4th full-featured burr grinder, and it is my hands down favorite, it makes the best tasting coffee.The grounds enter the storage cup w/o any spilling over, there are no open gaps between the cup and where the grounds are dispensed from the grinder, so there is truly no mess.It is easy to set up, the scale is an added bonus–its beautiful, works seamlessly out of the box, and its connected by bluetooth to the grinder so they are fully integrated. The scale offers a nice platform for the cup where the grounds are collected under the machine. The Mokkom is solid and it looks expensive. It’s a great design!But the most important feature is the actual grinding mechanism and quality of the grounds. I set the machine for pour over, #23, the knob turns to select the precise grind from French press to espresso–if you want a coarser or finer grind, there are several options for each style of coffee. I appreciate seeing the full range of options lit up across the screen. The grinding speed is slow, 350 RPMs, the slower speed means greater uniformity of the grounds and less heat generated during grinding, this results in higher quality grounds and better tasting coffee.I also have a Fellows Ode grinder, itâs considered one of the best grinderâs on the market, it grinds at 1,400 RPMâs, I credit the Mokkomâs slower grinding speed with the superior quality of the coffee it makes compared to the Fellows Ode (The Ode also makes a mess, grounds spill out everywhere, making it hard to clean–this is typical of most grinders).The coffee I’m making with the Mokkom is the best I’ve ever had. The pour over has crema (foam that you get with espresso) w/o any bitterness. I think itâs the perfect cup of coffee, I canât imagine anything tasting better. I brewed it using a Fellow Stagg XF pour-over dripper with Melitta brown #2 filters, Ground Work “Round Midnight” dark roast beans (though Philz Tesora medium roast is a very close 2nd & my usual go-to coffee bean).Mokkom has exceptional customer service, they really care about each users experience, and they want you to reach out if you have any questions or problems, they responded immediately to my message. They even mentioned another reviewer who had complained about the loud beep, and that they wanted to reach out to help, but Amazon offers no way to respond to reviews. Mokkom hoped that if I posted how to turn off the beep, that customer might see the review and learn how to silence the beep.I am not buying any more grinders, this is my forever grinder and I couldnât be happier with it.

It’s amazing. Buy it!
This grinder is outstanding. Absolutely NO static – NONE(!!), excellent and accurate grind options, scale is perfect, and it’s the most quiet of the 4 grinders I’ve owned. I purchased the Fellow Aidan coffee maker and wanted to downsize my grinder from the Breville (a workhorse to be sure but too big). I did extensive research, had the Mokkom in mind but purchased a different one mainly because it was an awesome design. Returned it due to the craziest static I’ve ever seen (grounds actually flew up on my sweater). I went back to the Mokkom and wasn’t sure about the scale or brand but it had good reviews so I ordered it and honestly, could not be happier. Have only had a couple weeks, and use daily, so will update on wear quality if there’s an issue. But so far, it’s really top notch.

Excellent Grinder
The grinder works exactly as advertised. No static issue. Very quiet. Easy to clean. Works with beans with high oil content. Scale allows the ability to be consistent. We started using the cup measure to get the grind we preferred, checked what the scale listed the weight at, and now use the weight to grind our daily coffee. Highly recommend.

Great consistent grind
This item is all that it says it is. The grind is consistent and mostly static free. The noise level is well within reason. The only issue is, that although the listing indicates that you can set the grind for up to 12 cups, it only goes to 8. Not convenient for 10 to 12 cup pots. You have to figure out the amount of grinding seconds to have that amount. Other than that it’s great.

Competes with the best of them
Hands down ones of the best bur grinders I’ve used. Easy to use and one of the greatest features is the grind by weight with the Bluetooth synced scale. Comes with espresso portafilter dosing attachment bracket too. The grinds are very consistent and this machine is so quiet. Low rpm grind speed means less heat transfer and build up on the beans during grinding resulting in a more aromatic and quality grind.For the price point… I wouldn’t look anywhere else. This machine is very underrated. Highly recommended all levels of coffee geeks.

First impressions; a lot of value for the price, fit finish, and feel are solid.
This machine is thoughtfully designed and built. The grind quality is controllable and consistent. The scale and timer are unique & extremely useful and the grinds by weight are within my tolerances for my Espresso maker (Francis Francis X1 Gen 1) I was able to dial in my shots to 18-20 seconds or less within 5 grinds and test shots [try setting five or six]. Be aware, I am new to this hobby but in comparison by price alone, itâs definitely worth trying.

Highly impressed
Iâve only used it for a couple days now, so barring any unforeseen issues in the future, Iâm being wowed with every cup of coffee I brew.Iâve done grinds for pour over and for espresso. Never have they tasted so good in the past. The grinder gives such a good and consistent grind to truly evoke the flavors from the beans.The versatility of grind level, and grinding options, make this a dream to use. There is a tiny learning curve deciding if you want to grind via time or cup or whatever option you like. Thatâll last all of about 5 minutes!The grinder itself is so quiet as well. Iâm amazed at how quick it is for how little noise it makes. The old grinder this is replacing probably took a full minute to grind a cupâs worth of coffee beans – waking the entire house in the process. This grinder took about 10 seconds and my wife didnât even realize I was making coffee!Supremely happy with this purchase – itâs got a sleek modern design as well to make it look sharp. The scale is also incredibly nice! This grinder is going to be seeing a lot of beans.
