Helps make delicious coffee
I use a disc filter on the bottom of the grounds basket and then I use this folded filter next topped up with my favorite coffee grounds (a combination of 2 different coffee products). Then I top up the basket with another disc filter from the same company apply the lid and plug in! Voila fabulous coffee and no bitter grounds. I buy this product frequently.

These filters work well most of the time
After reading several one star reviews for the Melitta disc filters I decided to try these with my Presto 12 cup percolator.The filter covers all the holes in the 3 1/2â inch basket. Thereâs a circular perforation that allows the disc diameter to be reduced to 3â for smaller baskets (note: if you have a Presto percolator 3 1/2â fits). The filters come in a stack and some dexterity is required to separate the individual filters. The filter can be used with standard pre-ground coffee purchased from the grocery store.A more demanding test of the filter is to grind your beans with an inexpensive electric grinder (e.g Krups), which typically produces some very fine grounds under the blade. Iâve tried several different beans and have concluded that these filters are effective at retaining the small grounds produced by the electric grinder. Finally I added a tablespoon of espresso grind directly on top of the filter and then added coarse percolator ground beans. The coffee came through clear with no significant coffee residue.Overall, Iâm happy with these Brew Rite filters and will be reordering.Updated 8/2/20: Iâve been using these filters for over a year now. If you are looking for a percolator filter that will retain all the grinds all the time, youâll be disappointed. These filters do not work as well as the conical or basket filters used in drip coffee makers. It is not unusual to find some grinds or fine residue at the bottom of the cup. Finally, if your basket is 3 1/2â then you donât need to tear the filter at the circular perforation (see above). Itâs likely that the perforation decreases filter performance.

Perfect fit
I have looked at five local stores in our area for these filters, since COVID some items are hard to find. There is plenty in the package to use with our peculator for awhile.
